Kings' Way Hotel, Wadi Musa Very good 8.2 Nice pool, friendly staff, clean room
La Maison Hotel Good 7.7 Nice hotel, very helpful staff, cleaning up
Al Rashid Hotel Very good 8.5 I seem to have struck gold with my choice of hotels for the Jordan trip!! I picked two budget hotels – one in Amman and one in Wadi Musa and both have exceeded my expectations. Al Rashid hotel in Wadi Musa is a lovely little hotel run by a lovely man called Laith. The hotel was renovated only a year ago so everything looks new. I had a nice clean room with great shower and room heating facilities. To top it off, they offer the best breakfast that I’ve ever experienced in a budget hotel – unlimited Pita Bread, Hummus, Yoghurt, Olives, Omelettes and a ‘Fuul’ that probably came straight from heaven. Believe me, you HAVE to try that Fuul!! My only regret is that I couldn’t try out on my last day as I had to leave for the airport very early in the morning. The hotel is located at the centre of Wadi Musa – Petra Visitor Centre is a nice 15 minutes downhill walk from the hotel. On the way back, it’s a steep 20 minutes uphill walk (which wasn’t an issue for me being a long distance runner) – but you can always take a taxi for only 2 JD. All the necessary shops are located just beside the hotel. There’s a nice restaurant called Al Wadi located just around the corner. Laith was very helpful in arranging the trip to Wadi Rum and managed to get me a great deal. All in all I couldn’t have asked for more. Al Rashid hotel is highly recommended for anyone visiting Petra. One piece of Advice for would be travellers to Petra, you need to spend at least two full days in Petra to take it all in. It’s simply amazing!
Candles Hotel Good 7.6 We loved the location of the hotel but what we liked even more was the staff that worked there. The beautiful young lady at the from desk, Ahlam , treated us so well, upgraded as to an amazing room with a view and always asked about our welfare and if we needed anything. The Filipino lady that works in the restaurant also treated us well as well as the indian gentleman from Calcutta. We will come back to this hotel not only because of the location but because of the people that work there.
Edom Hotel Good 7.5 It was my first visit to Petra, and I was worried about not to get a good hotel there, I booked this hotel edom and it was beyond my expectations. Was so clean staff was so friendly and services was fast also, they told me about a roof top bbq i enjoyed that 2 so i recommend their roof top with that view on the holy mountains. Thank you edom for giving me a change to feel the real hospitality.
Sunset Hotel, Wadi Musa Good 7.4 You can't beat this hotel for value!!! The managers and owners are so incredibly helpful. Rooms are CLEAN, and the location is SUPERB. Don't spend all your money at the high-end places, instead stay here, you'll have FUN and you'll also some extra cash to buy some more of those great bargains at Petra!!!!
Amra Palace International Hotel, Wadi Musa Very good 8.2 Everything ! the free shuttle to Petra, the cleanliness, the open buffet, the breakfast, the swimming pool and the jacuzzi, the turkish bath...
Seven Wonders Bedouin Camp Excellent 8.7 This was one of the best trips we have done and the Seven Wonders made it so. The staff was friendly and helpful, the huts were clean and comfortable, plenty warm even on cold January nights. It was great to know we would be coming back to the common "tea tent" with a nice fire going each night after a day of trekking around Petra. And the dinner was fantastic.
Beit Zaman Hotel & Resort Pleasant 6.4 The hotel is very beautiful and special and the rooms huge. The breakfast Is good too.
Petra Gate Hotel, Wadi Musa Good 7.4 Petra gate is a very welcoming place with a wonderful terrace which allows both enjoying amman's ambiance and resting in a peaceful place. Rooms and beds are very comfortable and lavatories are new and very clean. It is not a 5 star hotel but a place that looks and feels like home
Saba'a Hotel Very good 8 Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. Cleanliness.
Petra Moon Hotel, Wadi Musa Excellent 8.9 I'm really glad that I chose this hotel in Wadi Musa. It had everything: easy access to Petra (the visitors center is 200 meters away and when one has been walking in Petra all day, to get quickly to your hotel is a big plus); friendly staff (will arrange you Petra by night tour, your transport to Wadi Rum), great breakfast choice; clean and confortable rooms; small welcome gifts, like a platter with fruits or just a chocolate bar that they will leave on your pillow (my friend was extremely happy when she found chocolate on her pillow); rooftop area with swimming pool (be careful water was icy but after +35 during the day it can be really refreshing). Good price quality ratio!
Grand View Hotel Good 7.7 beautiful mountain location overlooking Petra, great swimming pool, breakfast and service were excellent, quiet location away from the tourist crowds,
Seven Wonders Hotel, Wadi Musa Excellent 8.6 Very friendly and supportive staff
Petra by Night, Wadi Musa Good 7.9 The room was clean and facilities were new. The room was equipped with cable tv and a/c. Ibrahim who works there gave me all the information I needed about seeing Petra. He even made us a to-go breakfast pack since we were leaving early morning to see Petra.
