Overall an amazing experience provided by the hosts (Mohammed, his father Mr. Friday and the cook (whom unfortunately I did not remember the name of). A small camp of 5 tents (which just adds to the experience) within 10mins drive from visitors center. All you could think of was taken care of by the hosts (transport from visitors center, jeep tour, camel ride, special requests etc.). You have all the conveniences needed, while being remote in the Wadi Rum desert, under the sky full of stars... A great place to meet nice people who share the same passion of travelling!

One of the best experiences ever. Literally everything was perfect:) The camp itself is beyond beautiful, the lamps on the rocks, the dinner area, the shisha and tea area simply perfect. The food both breakfast, lunch and dinner all are super delicious, absolutely loved it. But the main highlight of everything is everyone working there. The level of hospitality and kindness is beyond! I didn’t get everyone’s name just the people that we spend more time with, Abdoullah and Fahad one of the people that works with them, by providing tours. Just amazing amazing amazing people, it felt like being with family! I regretted not staying more than 1 night, so if you’re reading this consider staying longer because outside of tours is also really nice to just absorb the peace of the desert and the camp and the company of the amazing people that work there. Definitely will be coming back and do that! Can’t thank everyone enough for the amazing hospitality, kindness and fun moments!

An Excellent Stay – Peaceful, Authentic, and Very Well Organized My experience here was outstanding. The team, led by Awwad, was kind, respectful, and made sure everything was perfectly arranged. The room was spotless and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing night. The food was delicious and clearly prepared with care. The jeep tour with Faisal was one of the best parts – he was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the desert come alive with his stories and insights. Watching the sunset in the quiet of the desert and riding camels was a truly peaceful and beautiful moment. I felt safe, welcome, and completely immersed in the experience. Highly recommended for travelers who appreciate nature, culture, and genuine hospitality.

Salameh was an amazing host. From the moment I arrived until the moment I left there was nothing that was not great. He and his brothers run a lovely camp. I highly recommend a tour around the desert with cooked lunch along the way. It was delicious and a fantastic experience.

The camp is located 30 minutes from the rendezvous village. It is totally immersed in the desert, and we had a tent overlooking the desert and experienced a wonderful starry sky during the night and a truly stunning sunrise. We booked a 3-hour jeep tour, which turned out to be a half-day long, and we discovered, therefore, so many wonderful spots in this sometimes Mars-like desert. The staff is wonderful, very kind and super helpful. Really recommended

Advice for Future Visitors to Wadi Rum

Advice for Future Visitors to Wadi Rum Be cautious and do your homework before your trip. Unfortunately, there are many misleading practices, so here are a few tips to help you avoid unpleasant surprises: Verify the camp location before heading to the visitor center. Some camps are outside the protected area, which may affect fees and access. Review room details carefully, especially if you're expecting a bubble room or other specific accommodation. Pictures can be misleading. Ask for a full breakdown of all charges—including transportation, activities, and upgrades—before confirming your booking. Watch out for hidden fees and vague pricing. Transparency is not always guaranteed, so it's best to clarify everything in advance. Stay informed and alert to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Stayed for one night, the scenery view is amazing.

Stayed for one night, the scenery view is amazing. We booked with Charlotte Luxury Camp and the host was very attentive—he reached out to coordinate my arrival and personally came to pick me up. From the pickup point, he kindly drove me to the final destination, which was the desert camp. Along the way, he explained the different activities available, whether to explore the desert or simply enjoy the sunset. His hospitality was excellent. The camp environment at night was especially well-organized. The fire added a warm and magical ambiance that truly enhanced the whole experience. The staff responsible for meals put in noticeable effort—both dinner and breakfast were homemade, flavorful, and delicious. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. I really liked it and would definitely recommend it.

The camp is situated on a very scenic spot of the Wadi Rum desert, Rashid and his brothers cater for all the needs of their guests. The tents are comfortable enough, the sanitary blocks are similar to any campsite in Europe, the food is excellent, the atmosphere is absolutely magic. Rashid really goes the extra mile to make sure every guest leaves happy. I highly recommend the full-day tour in the desert. These nights spent in the camp were the highlight of my week in Jordan.
