Hotel Patina Ishigakijima Excellent 8.6 Very helpful staff and they did their best to help us with our limited Japanese language skills. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast variety of Japanese and Western breakfast items was fantastic. We also thought the free laundry and bicycles were a huge help. Quick walk to the ferry dock made for an ideal location.
Beach Hotel Sunshine Good 7.7 Good breakfeast, nice room with a great view from the balcony. The reception had an English speaking person during out stay, very helpful staff to organise a trip. Bus stop directly in front of hotel, but few buses. The restaurant was very good.
Shiraho Friends House Excellent 8.7 the house attracts great folks, good to travel with and hang out. We had a real Christmas party in Okinawan-Ishigaki style
Beach Village Nosoko Excellent 8.6 Comfortable, cozy, private, and quiet accommodations located in a scenic area on Ishigaki Island. Helpful, genuinely friendly owners. Close to the beach. Extremely clean apartment, very clean shower, efficient kitchen. Highly recommended!
Hotel Royal Marine Palace Pleasant 6.1 The large open rooms and nice shower room.
Hotel Happy Holiday Ishigaki Good 7.6 The room was clean and spacious. Staff were helpful and the internet connection was great. My friends went on a dive with the attached diving school/shop and LOVED IT! The breakfast was simple, however, for the price of the hotel, I really cannot complain.
Hotel East China Sea Good 7.4 Very convenient location right next to the ferry port, bus terminal and main town. We had views of the sea and port from our balcony! The staff were very helpful and lovely, and the room had everything we needed. We wanted a double but only twin rooms were available, but we were able to slide the beds together and make a super huge bed!
Fusaki Resort Village Very good 8.2

Hotels that guests love in Ishigaki Island

    • the house attracts great folks, good to travel with and hang out. We had a real Christmas party in Okinawan-Ishigaki style

    • The place is really clean and close to beach, its about half hour from the center but we actually enjoyed that better, there is a few amazing isakayas (japanese style retaurants) the owner Hiro was so helpfull, takes his time with every guest to help them plan their day, he helped us book a diving trip and wrote down traditional okinawan dishes to order on the isakayas, needless to say their were all amazing (if you are adventureous with food) defentely recommend this place

    • Really close to the port so if you want to see the other islands, staying here makes it easy. The staff was great, they invited us to drink with them one night, and we received Okinawan doughnuts as a gift when we left. Bathroom was clean, A/C was strong. No complaints here

    • The host was so generous and kind and provided the most delicious value for money breakfast. The rooms are clean and our sheets and towels were changed each day, due to the heat of the Okinawan summer. We felt very comfortable in the room with plenty of space for 3 adults. The location is fantastic to explore the neighbouring islands via ferry and you can rent scooters and cycles very close by to see the north of Ishigaki, which I highly recommend. A wonderful stay, thank you.

    • The beauty of the surrounding followed by the comfort and reliance of the staff made this accommodation worth more than what money has to offer. I do not regret a single moment here. Thank you. -Tetsuya
