“Setvice, restaurants,view,swiming pool, snow village”
“The lake view of the room was excellent. We were upgraded to a spacious room with a Japanese style living area.”
“We came here purely for a great onsen experience, and left feeling entirely satisfied. Along with the yummy buffet, impeccable Lake Toya views and a cosy room, this place was nice. Only downside as a couple staying here is that it is much more of a family orientated place and there were lots of kids running around, so if you'd like a more private get away it probably isn't the place. Toya is a good half way point for those travelling up north via train like we did.”
“The location was hard to fault. A 2-minute walk from the main Toyako bus terminal, and a 30-second hop to the ferry terminal - this hotel allows you all the conveniences of the Toyako Onsen area. The breakfast and dinner served in the room was remarkably delicious and the variety was staggering. The onsen was also one of the best I've been to. It happened to snow when I was there and sitting in the extremely hot tub while snow fell on my head was an experience in a lifetime. Highly recommended.”
“1. Spaciousness and breathtaking views 2. Onsen in hotel 3. Lavish food breakfast and dinner (too many varieties)”
“Shuttle service from the train station to the hotel and back again was prompt and convenient. Breakfast was delicious with many items to choose. Fireworks were beautiful and enjoyable. Convenient location, close to boat ride, convenience store and restaurants, bus stop, shops”
“Great buffet spread and splendid view!”
“The owner couple were so cute. It helps that we speak Japanese and were able to chat with them but even if you don't, they would still go out of their way to help you with whatever you need. They were so warm and funny and friendly. The location is excellent too - not too far from the train and steps from restaurants and the lake.”
“Stunning lake view from the window, good location for bars, shops and restaurants. Great value.”
“A 30 min walk outside town, but you knew this if you'd researched the accommodation before hand. Right next to volcanic activity, so interesting. Owner was helpful and friendly. We knew she spoke no English, so took a phrase book, which was useful. Lovely lady who we had a laugh with, especially over my partners saddle! We were there for the Ironman Japan at Lake Toya. No cooking facilities, but I'd bought a gas stove on the way in, which we were allowed to use, if we didn't burn the house down! Would stay here again without a doubt. Just remember to bring your own towels as none are provided. Bedding is changed when you ask for fresh ones. Perfect host, thank you!,”
“The room features stunning view of the lake, and it's large and clean. We were told the room can contain maximum 4 people to stay. Hot spring is the best among all the hotels I stayed in Hokkaido. Next time i visit Hokkaido, I will definitely choose to spend sometime there again. As for the transportation from JR station to hotel, you can choose by taxi or by bus. Taxi will cost u about 20000JPY.”
“Stayed with a group of friends snowboarding at nearby Rusutsu. We shared a family suite which was extremely comfortable, roomy with a great view and well appointed. The newly refurnbished onsen and roten-buro are excellent. Staff were accommodating with our lacking ability to speak Japanese.”
“Japanese style spacious bedroom.”
“This is a great hotel for a very Japanese experience, located right on Lake Toya. There is an onsen (hot springs) in the hotel. The dinner is a very elaborate and elegant 10-course Japanese dinner served in your room, with mostly seafood dishes. The breakfast buffet has about 50 Japanese items to choose from.”
“Has traditional Japanese style”
