“Location is the best! Near to shopping mall and train station.”
“Many Japanese people told me Nagoya is a boring place and not friendly. I have stayed there 2 times now and it is amazingly friendly and great clothes, food and night life. Try The Hub if you are a westerner, you will meet great people, just be prepared for a late night!! For families you can travel to the Toyota Museum from Nagoya, not just cars, but a historical museum of automobiles, post war creations of scooters from plane parts, surfing, cameras etc etc”
“Location Value of money Wifi Comfortable room and staff service”
“Super clean and new, excellent service”
“- excellent and helpful staffs - Nice room and bed - Good breakfast”
“Good staff, nice room, near public transportation”
“Very near station and this building is big so it is very to find it. The room has all needed facillities and desigined in a smart way. The staff is polite and helpful”
“The hotel is superbly placed only 600 meters from the station. Room was bigger than others I have stayed in in Japan.”
“The staffs at this hotel are very friendly, tolerance, smiles always and very excellent services.... I will stay at this hotel next time and will promote and recommend to my friends....”
“Location Very near to Nagoya Station with underground passage nearby, very helpful when raining.”
“Location great value for money”
“We stayed at Kyoya Ryokan for one night only in July to go to the sumo wrestling championship. It is about a 15 min walk to Nagoya Castle and the sumo venue, so great location. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The garden was especially lovely and a little oasis in a big city. We would highly recommend having dinner here, the food was amazing, as was breakfast. My only regret waso staying for one night only!”
“The location of the hotel was excellent. Make sure you exit in No. 8 of the Sakae station. Take the escalators up (Sunshine Sakae building) and you are on Nishiki-Dori. One block down and you are at the hotel. Please note that the hotel is also called the International Hotel Nagoya. The room was comfortable and clean and spacious for Japanese standards. Restaurants plenty in the hotel and around the area (including the adjacent building connected through the basement of the hotel).”
“The location. The cleanliness.”
“Meitetsu Grand is next to the Nagoya station so we used our JR pass to go to Kyoto everyday, a 32-minute ride on the super express Shinkansen train. (We couldn't find a comparable hotel in Kyoto during the cherry blossom season.) We had all the other amenities of the train station as well. Our room was nice and clean, and the staff was friendly.”
“First of all, the location was convenient because it was just a 30 min train ride from Chubu Central Airport. It was in Kanayama, a lovely, laid-back town filled with nice people. Hotel was near the Kanayama train station and other subways. Many restaurants and convenient shops around the area, too! I also liked the buffet breakfast that came in with the room because it was a total package- all affordable and comfortable.”
“Airport coach stops at the classy Tokyu Nagoya Hotel in front of the Unizo Inn. Friendly staff and they have a luggage room..”
“Honesty of staff. We were already at the airport ready to depart when one of our group found out she left her laptop at the hotel. She called the hotel to tell that it can be sent to the Phils via FedEx but the manager was so kind to bring it to the airport taking the train to make it before our departure”
“Love the location of the hotel which is in the busy Umeda area and lots of different trains go there. Airport bus is just around the corner which make it easy for travelers with luggages.”
“Nice Hotel but staff is not very helpful. Exit 5 for subway would have saved us a bit of extra walking with our luggage.A big plus is the airport bus across the hotel at Nagoya Tokyu Hotel (go early to queue since this is the last pickup point), instead of going to the bus terminal. lots of high end shopping area and during lunch time you can buy lunch with makeshift stalls for office workers during weekdays (decent price)”
