the b Nagoya Very good 8.3 Accessible to all good shops and tourist spots
Hotel Wing International Nagoya Good 7.7 Many Japanese people told me Nagoya is a boring place and not friendly. I have stayed there 2 times now and it is amazingly friendly and great clothes, food and night life. Try The Hub if you are a westerner, you will meet great people, just be prepared for a late night!! For families you can travel to the Toyota Museum from Nagoya, not just cars, but a historical museum of automobiles, post war creations of scooters from plane parts, surfing, cameras etc etc
Hotel Trusty Nagoya Very good 8.1 Great hotel to stay to go around at Nagoya Japan
Nagoya Kanko Hotel Very good 8.4 Super clean and new, excellent service
Nagoya Tokyu Hotel Very good 8.4 Excellent hotel in central location, incredible professional and efficient staff. Best location in Nagoya. I am an experienced traveler and believe me this is the best hotel in Nagoya by far. A favorite among locals for its luxury, status and prestige hosting many important local events and receptions that don't diminish or interrupt your experience as a guest but are interesting to witness as a guest.
Daiichi Fuji Hotel Good 7.3 Very comfortable bed, very clean, staff spoke English very willingly
Chisun Inn Nagoya Pleasant 6.9 Very near station and this building is big so it is very to find it. The room has all needed facillities and desigined in a smart way. The staff is polite and helpful
Hotel Sunroute Plaza Nagoya Good 7.6 Cleanliness Location Friendly staff
Eco Hotel Nagoya Good 7.7 Despite it's low cost, don't be fooled. It is a great place to stay because it is cleaned daily and have excellent showers and Wi-Fi. It is also located just outside the Nagoya JR station and there is a 7 Eleven and a 24 Hour Restaurant downstairs. Awesome!
Hotel Shinmei Nagoya Station Good 7.7 Location Very near to Nagoya Station with underground passage nearby, very helpful when raining.
Sanco Inn Nagoya - Shinkansenguchi Good 7.7 The room was very small, but so comfortable and so terribly clean that you can not ask for anything more!
Kyoya Ryokan Excellent 8.7 We stayed at Kyoya Ryokan for one night only in July to go to the sumo wrestling championship. It is about a 15 min walk to Nagoya Castle and the sumo venue, so great location. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The garden was especially lovely and a little oasis in a big city. We would highly recommend having dinner here, the food was amazing, as was breakfast. My only regret waso staying for one night only!
Nagoya Kokusai Hotel Good 7.2 The location of the hotel was excellent. Make sure you exit in No. 8 of the Sakae station. Take the escalators up (Sunshine Sakae building) and you are on Nishiki-Dori. One block down and you are at the hotel. Please note that the hotel is also called the International Hotel Nagoya. The room was comfortable and clean and spacious for Japanese standards. Restaurants plenty in the hotel and around the area (including the adjacent building connected through the basement of the hotel).
Meitetsu New Grand Hotel Good 7.8 The location. The cleanliness.
Meitetsu Grand Hotel Very good 8.3 The room was very quiet, even though it was right next to the train station (but facing the city). We heard no noise from outside. It was clean and comfortable.

Hotels that guests love in Nagoya

    • First of all, the location was convenient because it was just a 30 min train ride from Chubu Central Airport. It was in Kanayama, a lovely, laid-back town filled with nice people. Hotel was near the Kanayama train station and other subways. Many restaurants and convenient shops around the area, too! I also liked the buffet breakfast that came in with the room because it was a total package- all affordable and comfortable.

    • Airport coach stops at the classy Tokyu Nagoya Hotel in front of the Unizo Inn. Friendly staff and they have a luggage room..

    • Honesty of staff. We were already at the airport ready to depart when one of our group found out she left her laptop at the hotel. She called the hotel to tell that it can be sent to the Phils via FedEx but the manager was so kind to bring it to the airport taking the train to make it before our departure

    • Love the location of the hotel which is in the busy Umeda area and lots of different trains go there. Airport bus is just around the corner which make it easy for travelers with luggages.

    • Nice Hotel but staff is not very helpful. Exit 5 for subway would have saved us a bit of extra walking with our luggage.A big plus is the airport bus across the hotel at Nagoya Tokyu Hotel (go early to queue since this is the last pickup point), instead of going to the bus terminal. lots of high end shopping area and during lunch time you can buy lunch with makeshift stalls for office workers during weekdays (decent price)
