“This is just a superb experience! Actually, I couldn't find a word to describe my stay here, just way more than amazing! First, my room was beautifully decorated in traditional Japanese ways, and all the hardwares were exactly the same as described in the pictures. I was lucky enough to get a room with an open-air bathtub in the balcony and a mountain scenic view, where, right in the autumn period, I could comfortably stay in the warm bathtub while enjoying the falling leaves covering the whole mountains in gold. Second, the personnel here are really more than hospitable, and it was right through them, that I came to feel the traditional spirit of Japan. From a bow to a smile, from a simple word of greetings to the last wave of goodbye, every single action is filled with the most sincere courtesy and elegance. Till this point, my experience in Kakimotoya has already way exceeded my prior expectations. Yet, even more, the breakfast / dinner here are more than delicious. Everything's been prepared to the greatest details, and even a super simple onion has been sliced into the most delicate form. I really felt I was totally spoiled, when I was so fortunate to have all such meticulously prepared food served in my tatami room, with the greatest traditional etiquette by a very lovely lady. (Breakfast was served in a special cubicle. The lady serving us breakfast was also super nice. I'd like to thank her here as well, though unfortunately I didn't mark down her name.) Last, most importantly, I'd like to give my special thanks to Ms Kumiko Kakimoto, who offered me quite a great deal of help when I was checking out: initially, we rent a car in Osaka Kensai Airport to travel across the country, yet the night before we were checking out, we got unlucky and hit the curb when driving in the tiny alleys of Namba. Unable to speak Japanese, I was totally fumbled and didn't know how to communicate with the car rental company to deal with the sequels.”
