The room/apartment we reserved (queen suite with hot bath) was very big and actually had 3 separate rooms.

The hotel was more spacious than your typical Japanese hotel. The staff was very kind and would help answer any questions I may have had. If you are traveling and want a quiet place to stay, this is it.

Nice classic Japanese tatami style room with indoor slippers provided. Facilities completed such as fridge, coffee machine, washing machine. The owner also recommended a few places to visit in Uji as well as the places to avoid. Kettle, cups and a foldable table is available in the room as well, very convenient. Although it is a distance away from the main Uji town, but it's near the train station, restaurants and shops.
The owner was very helpful and was able to fulfil all our requirement, I like the 24hr hot tea/coffee machine, During our last day, the owner was able to quickly change a washing machine to allow us to quickly do a proper wash before a grand public event, This was the best inn I stayed in Uji and will come back again in future. We appreciate his permission to allow us to hold our luggage before we left Kyoto.
