Marijampolė seems to be a wonderful place! Tiny old streets, original buildings, town squares decorated with flowers and statues, fantastic drawings on the walls. We always pass it while driving back to the Netherlands, but this lovely city is more than worth of paying a longer visit.

The street art festival happening there for 9 years has transformed the city into a celebrity show-case. Wall paintings are incredible. The town is small enough, so all is concentrated and easy to visit walking

Although we passed through Mariampol in a breeze, I wholeheartedly recommend a leisurely walk in its mediaeval downtown area. It is easy to stock up on groceries. Very friendly native people - be careful or they keep you as their house guests far longer than you might like.

So I went to this city to watch a Suduva (Champion of Lithuania) football game and I was welcomed by locals in the best way possible. The head commentator of Suduva, mr Dalius, showed me around all the nice things in the city. He brought me to the stadium and he later brought me to some bars where we partied and I met many locals. I apparently was the first Italian they ever met in town and I am proud of it.
The city according to other Lithuanians is nothing special but it is very clean, it has a lot of street art, you can breath the best air I have ever breathen and there are a lot of benches and parks. Furthermore there are not many bars but the few ones I have seen are just amazing. Domus Beati, the place I have stayed, is stunning and I don't want to create more expectations because I know you are already booking a trip there. God bless these people and this country because I left my heart there and I will come back for sure sooner or later.

We stayed only one night, and arrived late, so we only went for a pizza in the center, pizza house Picerija. Very good thing pizza with spicy sauce. The park around the river looked nice, when passing by the center.

Nice getaway for one day. Renovated and fresh city center.
Nice getaway for one day. Renovated and fresh city center. And a great collection of street Art. Check "Malony" on internet before you go. For a few days trip I would recommend Paezeriu Mansion and Kalvarija POI's. Don't forget swimming gear in a summer time, lots of lakes around.
The hotel is new and quite comfortable in a quiet residential area. It does not provide breakfast but there is in-room coffee/tea making arrangements and a small kitchenette in the first floor (it may become somewhat crowded in the evening though). Location is very good – some ten minutes or less on foot to the centre and to the closest eateries or food stores. There is a small parking lot at the hotel.
This is the best place to stay in Marijampole! The apartment was designed and build with love. It was created by architects and that is exactly how it feels. Everything is new, functional, comfortable and stylish. Host takes extra steps to make you feel welcome.
You can find free coffee and quite a few drinks and snacks to purchase, just like in the hotel.
We would love to come back for sure.
Spacious, perfectly clean and well-equipped apartment with an ensuite kitchen. Possibility to park the car almost at the apartment door. Well-working wifi. Highly reasonable price. Alltogether, although Marijampole does not seem a particularly attractive location, the apartment itself makes a convenient place for a stopover in a journey.
Excellent hotel for a short stay! We were a family of 4 (2+2), and the room felt very spacious and clean. A bunk bed for the 5-year-old was very nice to have. Good location close to the supermarket, across the street. Arrived in the evening, and drove early in the morning.
Nice garden & very friendly people! Especially great for our 2 year old son.
Swimming in the lake nearby (with big park, barbecue places and small sandy beach - few people).
Marijampole has more to offer than you might think. Good restaurants, nice parks, wall paintings…
Our stay in Marijampole was characterized by simplicity. The room provided basic amenities, and it's worth noting that breakfast was not included. The accommodation offered a self-check-in process, adding to the convenience for those looking for a fuss-free experience.
The room was clean and bed's were spacious. Same with the bathroom. There was a sushi restaurant just across the street and the food was excellent although a little expensive. There is also a burger restaurant at the base of the hotel.
The location of the hotel is very good, the car can be parked not far from the entrance. Good air conditioning system. Good breakfast for the price. Late check in is not a problem. Large shopping centers are not far away.
Location was exceptional, right in the center. We stayed for only one night but it would definitely be my choice if I wanted to stay for a longer period in Marijampole.
I liked the breakfast it was good. The bathroom was large and also clean. I appreciate that the window is able to open. The hotel is very clean and large as a whole.
