Everything is simply amazing. The apartment is spacious and cozy with newly renovated interior. It has everything you might need during your stay. The location is perfect with the place being in a gated community with 24h security on the premises. Supermarket, beaches, boat docks, zoo, and wonderful le Morne mountain are just minutes away by car. William is an amazing host and was very helpful throughout our stay. Thank you very much for a wonderful time. I will definitely book again once we return to Mauritius.

The Riviere Noire area is quite busy and urbanised so it isn't a great location if you want to "get away from it all". However, it has some fabulous restaurants, cafes and bars along with useful shops Bed and breakfast hotel tariffs are a great option since you sample superb Mauritian cuisine away from the hotel. It is also a great location for visiting the Black River Gorge. The beach is OK but the stunning beaches at Le Morne and Flic en Flac are each a 15 minute drive away. The location near the beach was awesome. Shops are nearby and in walking distance from The Bay. The only downside is that it is pretty far from major beaches and restaurants other than one's hotel are hard to find. There is nothing much with the village itself but it is a good base for the south east corner, close to Black River Gorges, Le Morne and Tamarin. The Riviere Noire location was perfect for families and couples alike - plenty to do within easy access of the area. The location is particularly good for children and their ability to snorkel and swim because of the sheltered swimming and shallow waters. Whilst snorkelling isn't that spectacular there were plenty of fish and different varieties to keep the children happy. Amazing.....beautifully relaxing and authentic. Not over run by tourists and lots to see and do. Or you could just bask in the sun all day. Stayed at Mariposa in La Preneuse and the setting was idyllic. Nothing quite like falling asleep to the sound of waves under your window

From our room and specially from the pool area the view towards the Morne mountain is unrestricted. What I liked most of all that Harmonie is a small accommodation with tastefully decorated rooms with impeccable eye for detail. We stated in the Africa room. Most wonderful is that it is very peaceful and quiet with nice seating areas, including a covered double sunbed. Absolutely a place I would like to return to next time I come to Mauritius

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and more! The residence was stunning, peaceful garden on the sea front with beds and pool. Exactly like pictures. There is parking or bus stop 3 min walk. Grocery aprox 10 min walk. The area around tamarind bay is just lovely with chilled vibes. Perfect spot in Mauritius to do hikes and beautiful beaches. Would definitely stayed again!

Riviere Noire is ideal place to explore south of Mauritius and Black River Georges national park. Owners of the house Angelica, Dominique as well as Jacques can not be more helpful. In case of traveling in group I will definitely come back!

Even with a standard garden room, we had a view on the ocean and the sunset from our little terrasse. Good breakfast, private section on the beach, small hotel with not too many guests, close to Chamarel and Le Morne for hiking. Room was spacious, kitchenette available even if we didn’t use it.

The hotel was very clean and there was a lot of choice for breakfast. The pool isn't huge but is big enough for the number of guests the hotel takes. The beach is right outside the restaurant and has some loungers which are great for relaxing in during the day. Overall we had a great stay.
