The beach is beautiful and clean. Easy to walk to the beach. Cute shops in the market. Nice restaurants on the beach. Lots of older American and Canadian tourists. We always ate a a street side seafood restaurant with ice cream next door. Easy to buy snacks at Oxxo.

I LOVE being in Bucerias - this was my third trip staying there. The only negative is that there are also a lot of other people who love Bucerias - there is a massive amount of condo building going on. Hopefully, it will not take over and ruin the local businesses that really add to the flavor of the city. I am very comfortable there. It is large enough to have all the amenities that I want but small enough to be able to walk around and not feel crowded-in like being in a larger city. At no time did I feel unsafe - of course I wasn't walking around at 2 in the morning, either, and stuck with areas with which I was already pretty familiar. The restaurants there are amazing - El Brujo, Sandrina's, La Comalita, Cafe las Flores, Le Postal, Le Bistrot, Mr. Santana's - and the list goes on and on. I have a list of at least another half dozen that I want to try. I didn't have a single bad meal or dining experience the whole time there.

Beach and the place we stayed in were great but town busy with tourists. Restaurants good but very crowded in January. Have to make reservations in the most popular ones. Karens place on the beach is good for a sunset experience.

the price of buying groceries was much higher than anticipated, cost of eating out getting very expensive. prices of taxis is seriously on the rise. good people that try and make you happy. locals are moving out to return inland as they find it near impossible to pay cost of living in tourist areas, locals say that tourism is going to suffer badly due to cost increases.even a local doctor told me this area is getting to expensive for local people. old town area of puerto vallarta is suffering in many ways tourism is down , not as otherwise stated. i wouldn't,t go back to where i stayed , nor would anyone else we talked to in 12 days. that pretty much sums it up. not going to sugar coat the truth.

Bucerias is beautiful. Loved this little town.
Bucerias is beautiful. Loved this little town. The people are amazing and very hardworking. To stay right in the town amongst the locals was our best experience by far. We walked everywhere. Our favorite breakie Cafe was Tiny's. Went there every morning. Nino's was great too. Shopped in the local grocery marts, produce markets and ate tacos from the hardworking street vendors. Bring pesos! Go to Luna Luna's for an amazing cocktail and see the Iguana's or if you wanna let loose go to Voodoo Monkey for a drink, snack, live music and dancing!

We love that access to great restaurants is all walkable.
We love that access to great restaurants is all walkable. A highlight was a walking seafood food tour with MyMexicanKitchen.com. Do it up front and learn so much about Mexican culture, history, food and the places you want to go back to. Public bus easily catchable. LaCruz Sunday Market is great and Desiladeral Beach is a must for a day in and incredibly wide, flat and beautiful beach. Can rent umbrella and chairs but if you have a tab for at least 350 pesos at the restaurant it is free. Kite surfers come here because the wind is so great. Fun to watch. Bring your list of needed spices and google The Little Bee which is a spice shop that will have everything you could want and then some. Best place to buy real vanilla.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel because of the wonderful customer service & care we received from the following hotel staff: Jeraldo, Marivella, Laura, Flor, Sergio, Carlos, Anna, & the Restaurant Chef. The restaurant and bar staff were excellent and made our hotel stay very enjoyable and the restaurant meals were delicious. The Bar, Palapa, & swimming pool was very lovely. There was a nice menu variety, and items were reasonably priced.
This hotel is well situated, easy walk to everything, the beach, the main area of Bucerias, transport & a large supermarket which is great for extended stays. The rooms are well decked out with kitchen utensils and comfortable furnishings. Great pool and rooftop space to enjoy the sunset and ocean views. Mario, the property manager provides outstanding service and nothing is too much bother for him. I really enjoyed my stay here.
My family and I loved the location of the hotel. The hotel has a breakfast spot right down stairs with delicious food! The hotel is walking distance from restaurants, to the beach and the malécon. The hotel room was beautiful. Maritza was kind and very welcoming during our stay. The beach is only a 5 minute walk but if you feel like staying at the hotel rather than go to the beach, the pool is nice and clean!
This hotel is conveniently located near the beach, bars, coffee shops, shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. The staff were helpful, although most spoke little to no English. The translator app was very helpful. Rooms were secure and cleaned daily with fresh towels and toilet paper. Great air conditioner. Very inexpensive and very good value for the price!
The building has an interesting Greek theme to the hotel and the room. The linens, pillows and the bed was amazing as it was the best we have had in all our Mexico vacations. Patty was an excellent host as we enjoyed our brief 3 day stay as she brought us a coffee maker and made it easy to get a relaxing start to the day.
It's tough to rate this hotel, because as of the end of January, it is in a state of flux. I have never seen (or heard!!!) so much construction going on in one hotel...and in fact, in the entire town! I am certain it will be a lovely place to stay one day in the future, but not now. (Jan 22.)
Host went above and beyond. He was very kind, helpful, friendly. He shared necessary information, not only about the hotel, but where to eat out for any meals, including additional discounts associated with the hotel. It was more than we expected.
The location is 1 block from the beach and near lots of bars and restaurants. The manager, Marisa, was excellent she responded to our questions promptly before our stay and took care of any small problems immediately while we were there.
We were in a good location. Right across the street from grocery store and restaurant.. Walking distance to all the local shopping and the main square of Bucerias .
I really liked the set up of the vrbo with other units as well..
The venue is lovely but noisy in the front suites. The staff are fantastic and accommodating. It feels more like Mexico here then in the big resorts. We have loved our stay and will be back again.
Our room was super clean, the hotel had very friendly staff, and the property felt very safe too. We also loved the restaurant there! we really enjoyed the couple of days we spent there.
Great location. Easy walking to all the great Bucerias spots. It was quiet in the evening. The pool was fantastic. Staff was accommodating and helpful.
