The location is wonderful, you’re close to the malecón but far enough to avoid the noise and the crowds. Walking distance is great! The pool is very nice, perfect temperature and clean. The food at the snack bar was amazing, Alberto cooks with his heart, love the ceviche and the fish tacos. I tried room service for breakfast, and the service was excellent thanks to Rubi to bring us our food was delicious and always warm. Also thanks so much to the front desk staff always so helpful and nice. A big thanks to Gabriel for your help and service.

    A wonderful city, just like all resort towns.

    A wonderful city, just like all resort towns. It is located in a bay, so you get a view of the city from almost any point. The streets are filled with souvenir shops and places where you can taste tequila. The waterfront is well-maintained, with a beautiful pedestrian area that’s perfect for a walk. From almost anywhere in the city, you can easily get around by bus, which is much cheaper than taking a taxi.

    We went with family so we had a good experience

    We went with family so we had a good experience But don’t go in August it’s too hot and humid and lots of storms . The power went out twice. The mosquitos ate us alive . The food was ok . Lots to do . The fish and other seafood was great . Uber is cheaper than taxi . We are at casita maraikas .

    Excellent restaurants, such as Happy Lobster, and Barracuda, which was a great beachside restaurant with the most amazing staff. Convenient markets, friendly people, great tattoo parlour (Endless Ink). I used Uber to get around, which was economical and reliable. Wandering along the beachfront was a treat.

    A lovely boardwalk with lots of interesting art, shops and restaurants. Very safe. Good to do day trips to the beaches only accessible by boat. Sea is quite rough and not many people were swimming. Nice vibe in the whole town and not as commercialised and modernised as some resorts, so still has some authenticity.

    Staying in Zona Romantica is a lovely area if you like night life. Make sure you walk to the Malecon as the historic town area is beautiful. If you're vegan/vegetarian, PV has so many lovely restaurants and you will have a great time eating at them all! I loved 100% Vegana Taqueria and Planeta Vegetariano and Elixir spot the most.

    The gay population is too much for us.

    The gay population is too much for us. It’s one thing for there to be one, but when they parade around in almost no clothes at all and revealing speedos, it’s too much. I have a teenage daughter and I don’t want her exposed to it. We won’t be returning.

But if you're travelling for a special occasion or holidays maybe you can find better options. It is not really close to attractions in the city. You'll need to catch a bus or Uber. The place is clean. staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good.

    I can see beautiful sunset from the room. They have a large selection of restaurants and bars. Shows and activities were also great. Private beach and pools were amazing too.     The location is absolutely excellent. Just a few blocks on the beach. A few blocks from the basilica. And a few blocks is zona romantica. Plus the hotel is really clean.     Near the beach is awesome. The equipment is old but comfortable to use. please be reminded not to use too many electrical appliance together, as it may cause sudden power outage. The hotel staff is very helpful to help us though, it is better not to use too many at first.
