I travelled in order to visit the German WW2 sites which...
I travelled in order to visit the German WW2 sites which abound in the area, the town itself is still full of historic sites going back centuries, but WW2 important buildings, such as barracks stll exist, some in ruined condition. The recent work to improve the visitor experience at the Wolfschanze is brilliant as it does not impact on the sites historical significance.

Beautiful town if you like history and Europe.
Beautiful town if you like history and Europe. I would not spend more that a couple days as this is a small town. As mentioned in my previous commentaries (other Polish towns), I wish I had seen more people smiling. However I understand that this is north (climate) and that the Polish citizens have been through a lot.

In my childhood I painted for him the red-brick St. George church, which was located a few meters apart from my room. My dinner was very good too! The museum-castle is located directly at the hotel.

You can also see it from the room windows. Nice restaurant in hotel's ground floor/front yard.
