Stunning views, excellent choice of pools, well-appointed bedroom and bathroom, large twin queen beds, great breakfast, wonderful formal restaurant, casual dining menu needs more selection, check in was a bit too slow but staff are amazingly helpful and friendly.

If we had known that the road to the house were that narrow, we would have accepted the hosts offer to personally lead us to the house. The house was overall gorgeous and spacious. The kitchen is very well stocked with high quality cooking supplies and lots of elegant glassware and dishes. The spacious bathroom has a modern shower and spotlessly clean granite and tile. It was truly a treat to stay in a place that felt like a home away from home.

Steep downhill through the beautiful Portuguese countryside, small roads through vineyards on hillsides. The hotel is amazing, in the middle of nature. The staff was overwhelmingly friendly. Once we arrived at the hotel we were welcomed with some cake and a drink out on the terrace :) The staff was amazing and very friendly. Not all of them are fluent in English, but they tried their best to help out anyway.
