Breakfast was great. Staff were cheerful. Everything fresh and clean. It was very nice to have a boxed breakfast ready for us as the front desk the morning we had to leave for the train station early. It was a pleasant surprise and tasted great!

This is The Hotel to stay in Halmstad Sweden, conveniently located across from the bus & train stations that offer fast transit without any noise at the hotel. Buy the Bus/Train pass. Avoid Taxis as many cheat passengers.

A wonderful town, I recommend visiting the nearby town of Tylösand, where there is an amazing big beach. From Halmstad you can walk along the Prins Bertils stig path around the sea, or by bike, the ubiquitous cycle paths will delight every cyclist.

You don't have to walk around the block to go from the train...
You don't have to walk around the block to go from the train station to the hotel. There is a lift AT the station bringing you to a bridge above the railway. Once upstairs you just cross the bridge, takt the lift down and you have the hotel across the street. The hotel is also exactly in front of the bus station - to take a bus you just have to cross the road.
The city center is at about 6-7 minutes walking distance. You have a beautiful walking path on the river die thst takes you yo the beach, atound 3 km away from the city centre.
There is a big supermarket open until 9 p.m., 700 m from the hotel.
The hotel stuff is very gentle and helpful, also if you're looking for that fifferent kind of shop or bar to visit. There are lot's of quite hidden gems in the city, with such nice cafés and restaurants in quiet, little backyards. You just have to walk in and look for what's inside, whenever you see an entrance.
The pieces of art in the city centre and at the river and in the library are also very interesting, as it is the library itself.
The symbol of the city has 3 hearts. You see them all over the city and feel the heartfelt atmosphere everywhere you go.

A nice little Swedish city with a Picasso statue and many small sights to see. You do not have to stay many days as everything is close by and can be seen quickly. Peaceful place at day, gets crazy at night as the Swedes like to party.

A little hard to find but follow the signs for the hospital and up on the hill overlooking Halmstad.

Halmstad is easily accessible and has a great location on the coast. There are fabulous cycling facilities all around and it is really safe. There are miles of beaches which I'm sure are great in the summer.
I enjoyed cycling along the coast route and inland.
Anyone interested in Agriculture should pay a visit to Warco Dairy farm. You can drive or cycle there or there is a bus leaves the Town centre every day at 11:00.
Nice quiet hotel in the city center. little bit old but clean and all ok . hotel worker ( maybe owner) spying on you in the night …. Sweden became Arabic county ( a single woman is a bad woman) ha ha but it’s was funny, when u come back from bar and hotel worker directly jumped out from his room.. So girls please note that :))
Dogs are not only allowed they are treated like royalty with special beds, food etc. The hotel is new and very modern, beautiful interior and very comfortable beds. The rooms are also super quiet, there is no noise from outside or other rooms/corridor. Breakfast great too!
We were biking Denmark and took the ferry over to Sweden. The hotel is about one mile from the ferry dock. It is very clean, comfortable and quiet. We had a delicious breakfast the next morning before heading out on our bikes for Torekov.

I had a really good stay. I felt welcome and my room was nice and cosy with a feeling of old hotels. The bathroom is simple but functional. The breakfast was good and very well presented. The lobby is cosy.
