A quiet and dreamy city. Not touristy. Calm. And beautiful. The people are gentle, friendly and very welcoming to foreigners. For those who don't like the hastle and noise of Pattaya or Hua Hin, It's perfect. Also, It's a stones throw from gorgeous islands.

Hotel recently renovated.
Hotel recently renovated. I have spoken to locals and bar owners and they all say this is good hotel in Ban Chang. Ban Chang is a good stopover for Golfers and people like myself who want to get away from Pattaya which is a bit more hectic. Bars are a bit more expensive than Pattaya bars due to less customers than Pattaya.
Breakfast was outstanding. Bacon and scrambled eggs most mornings but the wife (who is Thai) had Thai breakfasts and we both absolutely loved the food there including the dinners. Overall costs for additional food etc was excellent as was the actual food!
The owners Craig and his wife were outstanding from a service and human perspective and i would highly recommend the Hideaway as the place to stay in Ban Chang.
Wanted so much to live in the pool but unfortunately had a foot injury but it looked sensational and other guests commented so.
I booked an AirB&B a little ways away from the beach. Bad move. I did the whole tourist walk thing and found myself exhausted so I booked a night at this hotel to refresh and recharge. Amazingly helpful and courteous staff. They spoke enough English to make the transaction painless. Rooms are some of the nicest SCN rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The restaurant downstairs is great! Had salmon and mashed potatoes. Overall great hotel choice.
We have stayed and visited the SCN hotel many times, we enjoy their membership which allows us access to so many special events and facilities.
Last Saturday we took the opportunity to enjoy an awesome afternoon tea shared between 4 of us. The team are always so welcoming, and the food and tea, exceptional.
Shout out to Tukta and Eddie, as well as the Chef for looking after us so much.
Looking forward to our next visit.
All emplyees in the hotel was outstanding (cleaning, reception, restaurant, management) and always trying to meet any request.
The owner has international experience and understand european needs. He has made it to a nice place to be.
The location next to the sea is excellent.
Rooms are very big 50m2.
Free parking under roof.
We will return to this place in the future!
We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was clean, the staff were nice, the outdoor area was amazing especially that we had our pet during the stay. It’s location is close to Nangram Beach. The place is affordable for a family. I recommend it to those who want peace and quiet area to stay in Sattahip. They are pet-friendly 😊
Everything! Great pool Excellent rooms including mattress and pillows. Lovely free breakfast and a soon to be extended menu. Will for sure stay there for any future trips to Ban Chang!!! Covered parking was a plus.
The hotel near the motorway, very good location for Scuba Diving at Shark dive (Sattahip), the room has plenty space for 3 people (if you want), hotel has cafeteria for easy food, Value for accommodation.
I liked the design ,even though it’s a old hotel they have given it a makeover with bright colors,I got ungraded and the shower was good quality and the bed comfortable
