Beautiful nature, amazing beaches.
Beautiful nature, amazing beaches. But if you want to explore the island you need a scooter. Some little shops with stuff you need, but nothing special.
It is a remote island without big infrastructure, so i enjoyed the feeling of a bit adventure. And as i mentioned, the nature was spectaculous.

This is a stunning and beautiful resort in Ko Kood.
This is a stunning and beautiful resort in Ko Kood. It is the most lovely place I’ve ever been. The bungalow we were given is on its own little island with a fantastic view of the sea. We loved it so much we were really pleased to be able to stay longer.
The staff are really kind and were always available to help with anything. It is great to swim here as the water is clear and you can see fish swimming in it. The fire show was great fun. We liked some food more than others but loved the banana pancakes.
We’d definitely come again if the opportunity arose.

Ko Kood is advertised as an unspoilt island paradise, in my opinion, it is not. The arrival/departure pier is a mess, too much rubbish, not the welcome sight I was expecting. The 20-30 minute drive from the pier to the resort let us see a good part of the island. Most buildings, restaurants, hostels looked ‘tired’ - perhaps this is a post-pandemic situation. You have to be comfortable riding a scooter (and have insurance as the roads are quite steep and windy) to explore the island. I only ate at the Koh Kood Resort, which I found was not value for money, the portion sizes were small. The beach was safe and the water clear, I was expecting more fish. The resort’s facilities were adequate but I was expecting better. As an older, disabled person, I would not recommend the resort or island as a suitable place to visit. I would not visit Koh Kood again. For me, Koph Chang is a better option as you can take your car on the island.

Wonderful, had whole beaches to ourselves, friendly people a world away from Bangkok. Easy to get about on a scooter even for first timers. Bring sturdy shoes for waterfalls though. Great snorkeling locations too

This place is literally a paradise.
This place is literally a paradise. Get on a scooter and ride through jungle tracks to find deserted beaches, sea is pale blue just like in the pictures. Hardly any traffic at all, no banging music and crazy people, seems like everyone there is there for relax.
I loved it and am going back for more.

The beach was one of the best in my life.
The beach was one of the best in my life. Crystal clear water and sandy beach. The beach in front of my hotel was really great (Bang Bao Beach or something)
However, it was not easy for getting there and getting around especially during long holiday. The speedboat to the island was expensive and very bad management on the sitting (no reservation seat). You have to park at their parking lot and sitting on shuttle carts to the pier. When you reach the island, they offered free delivery service but you have to be "packed" on a truck with strangers for quite a long ride (>20 mins) to up and down road to my hotel.
The food here was very nice. However, most restaurant trend to take very long time before the food would arrive.
This hotel is a dream for back backers - like a 5 star lux hotel. Exactly in the center of the beach. Next door neighbour is the best 5 star hotel of the island. For the peole older than 30 it is 3 star hotel in nice location with Good breakfest.
Room was big. Full of fake plastic flowers, fake bird cage with plastic birds and etc.
Huge bathroom.
Entrance to the room was behind pool shower cabin. Entrance to the hotel lobby was also interesting. It seems it was a other near by 5 star hotel workers working route. Smelled like a toilet area.
We were in Thailand for 3 weeks & this was the best resort we stayed at. The rooms are very nice and clean. Enjoyed the outside shower. Lush green garden all around - very well taken care of. Beach is nice. The resort is very well designed for relaxation but you can also use kayaks, paddle boards etc for free. Walking distance to another close by beach. Nice pool area.
Food at the restaurant is amazing. Excellent Thai food and breakfast choice is very good. Staff is very friendly and professional. I would definitely stay there again.
Everything! Gumm and Jan (no clue how to spell her name) are just wonderful people who make you feel right at home. The coffee and also the food are very good. We've been traveling together for 10 years and this was the first time we didn't lock our room.
The nearest beach is about 1 minute away, but you can also use one of their kayaks (for free!) to get to "Neverland-Beach", which is also accessible by bike. We had the best time, thank you once again!

Koh Kood is our favourite Island in Thailand. We've been here for over a month and love Koh Kood however this accommodation is the worst option in Koh Kood. We spent 3 nights here and the staff and owners are really rude and unhelpful. There are many other nicer, friendlier and welcoming options all around Koh Kood. If you would like to really enjoy your time and make the most out of Koh Kood I suggest that you don't stay here.
The beach was gorgeous.
Make sure you go at the right season. Rainy season curtail sea sports.
Island very "primitive". Transportation on island are motorbikes but roads are narrow n hilly and rental of trucks which are quite pricey. Can't go anywhere on foot. An island where one just want to stay put, enjoy t beach. No shops n only a few restaurants. Have to eat in the hotel. Food in Siam Beach was quite good but a bit pricey.
The family room was perfect with a separate connected cottage for the kids. We were so well taken care of by the staff. The breakfasts were amazing and dinner as well. The property is beautifully designed and very well thought out. You can rent scooters right from the resort and explore the island. This place is a true gem and a frat place to come back to in the evening.
Very nice and modern apartment. The room and the garden were very clean and we loved the breakfast. Its located a bit further away from everything but you need a scooter on Koh Kood anyways to get around. The island itself is one of the best we have been to on Thailand - the beaches are definitely comparable to the Philippines.
The location was perfect, close to the best beaches and on the way to the fishing village. The owner was very helpful and friendly! The restaurant is good too, especially the pad thai and fruit shakes (enough fruit, not too much ice)
Overall we had a great stay and would come back!
I’m coming to Siam beach resort every year. the hotel is becoming better and better every year.
very nice bungalows and quiet lonely beach.
the staff is nice and helpful. massage on the beach is great.
and breakfast was amazing!
will definitely come back next winter!!
It’s in the name. The view is wonderful. The environment is amazing. The room comfortable and clean. Good bed and quiet aircon. It is remote and has a calm and natural atmosphere. Close to the fishing village. Great place to relax and get away from civilization.
The location of the resort is slightly off the most interesting part of the island but quiet and close to a pier with shops. The accommodations are comfortable. The staff didn't speak a word of English and the communications was very difficult.
Location is good but very outside of everything, a motorbike is essential and they don't have (enough) ... they want to keep their customers prisoners of the place... it seems... you can check my full report on TripAdvisor
The manager and the entire staff is very friendly. The free breakfast is exceptionally good. The cooking is excellent, perhaps the best I've ever had in Thailand. The bay is beautiful and quiet. Kayaks are offered for free.
Very friendly, Nai and his family were lovely and the food kn the restaurant was some of the best I've eaten in Thailand. Nice, clean rooms, couldn't do enough for me.
