I liked the resort, the room, and the price! Ice-coffees are so good! It's just nice to be around such a nice resort for a low price. The location is good too, you can be in the centre in 10 mins by scooter. I liked the energy too of the locals managing it.

I really enjoyed my stay! My room was so lovely, and it was actually a full house, with an occupied kitchen, balcony, living room, great showers!. Very clean place, including the pool. I had everything I needed, And stuff was there for me whenever I needed something.

The place is really realy nice and beautiful. It has quiet a big pool. Except for the closest 7/11 there isn't something close to by walking, But once you get your bike you're set to go everywhere. You have beaches that take only 5 minutes to drive to and the center is also couple of minutes drive. The most important thing is the staff. Min who works there was really helpful. As soon as you meet him he gives you his phone number so you can contact him directly. Min even took me to a great place to rent a bike and he even helped me to move to another place and also then - he took me there! Also he gave me some good recommendations about places to visit.

I liked that the kitchen was separate room from the living rooms, so it was good to leave all the food items there and also the fridge noise did not disturb the sleep as it was completely separate room. Secondly it was really quiet there, I had suspicions that near by boat yard may disturb the sleep in the morning when the fisherman go out but did not hear them at all.

Vlad is really kind, you can talk by WhatsApp with him and he does his best to help you (keep the luggage if you arrive early in the morning, gives you advices on the island for the beach, to rent scooters close to the flat, he even woke up really early in the morning for the check out). The house is really big, you have everything to cook/do smoothies at home, big fridge, towels, laundry machine. You have a beautiful and quite beach at like 5min by walk from the house. Just remember that you have to pay the electricity but isn't too much and it's like this in all the accommodations in this island (if you don't choose an hotel). I really recommend this flat. I extended my stay after 6 nights to another two days at the deluxe queen room and i could've stayed there for longer - the AC was perfect, the room itself like a garden house with a little terrace in front. Had a kettle for the first coffee/tea to enjoy out there. Could also change the lighting inside from an intense white to a more warm and that made it very cozy. For me it was very quiet, so i could sleep easy. Also the person helping me carry my luggage to the first room, gave a great tip where to rent a motorbike and it was also a trustworthy service.

I had a great stay at the Shanti hotel, super lovely staff, really clean and spacious room. Tom is a wonderful host, really taking care of the guests. They make you feel really welcome and they are extremely helpful with travelers needs. You can rent scooter at the same hotel and they help you fetching taxis or even they went to pick me up in the village with their tuk-tuk when I needed a ride back to the hotel. Amazing kindness. The hotel is by the road and though you can hear the sound of the motorcycles during the day at night its pretty quiet so you can sleep perfectly.

We were island hopping through Thailand for our honeymoon and I decided to book Sand in My Shoes as our last stop as my husband had not yet experienced Koh Phangan. I was a little hesitant to end the honeymoon in a sleepy little village on a part of the island I had not yet been to, but it turned out to absolute perfection and complete paradise! We had tossed up on whether to stay at Sand In My Shoes or Anantara and after venturing through Anantara whilst there, I am really happy we ended up where we did as this boutique beachfront hotel was absolute bliss! The food was incredible. The coffee the best we had had in Asia. The beach was perhaps my new favourite in all of Thailand (and I have travelled extensively throughout). The staff were so lovely (special shout out to Tae who checked us in and organised our transfer back to Samui airport!). We stayed in the beach loft overlooking the ocean and it was simply stunning. The room was spacious, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the deck was our favourite place to watch the sunrise each morning and then enjoy a drink in the evenings - we simply couldn't fault our stay. We will most definitely be returning and can't wait to do so! Thank you to all of the staff who made our stay incredibly special and such a highlight of our honeymoon!
