Beautiful views. Villas Romaines and the Roman grounds is a must to visit as is the port. Only small downfall was that were wasn’t aware that we had to pay for parking everywhere and so the car got clamped and cost us 30 dinar…

Sidi Bou Said, Tunisia, was an amazing place to stay.
Sidi Bou Said, Tunisia, was an amazing place to stay. The town's vibrant blue and white architecture, delicious food, and friendly people made it a truly memorable experience. I also enjoyed seeing the many street cats that were a part of the town's charm.

A beautiful little town, full of local charm, everything you need is within walking distance, cheap public transport. Its an extremely safe and hospitable place with very friendly people. My partner could walk around at night, enjoying the warm nights (in december),feeling safe while, she enjoyed feeding the beautiful cats that roam the streets. We both work from home, so it was important to have a good quality internet, and the WiFi was of great quality and very reliable.

liked the vibe, the white & blue buildings
But did not like how persistent shop assistants can get.
My favourite place was Le Villa Blue & Ben Rahim Cafe
I ate pasta
Very easy to get around Sidi Bou Saiid
On my next visit, I would avoid going when hot season started.

This is a moment in time that grows better and better: a retreat from a 100 years ago for artists and intellectuals and Tunisians who prize the mountain top view of the bay and the city below, the white and blue houses, and the quiet. It has its own rewards and none of the rush or noise found in similar such places. It's a gem that has yet to be ruined.

Sidi Bou Said is a Unesco village located on top of a cliff, hence the view from the terrace of the property. and there is always a light breeze, much appreciated in high temperature. It is full of character, quiet and quaint. It is pedestrianised. Tends to be busy with tours and in the evenings with locals coming for fresh air, but that's part of the atmosphere.
Transport is also good - the train at the bottom of the hill goes to Tunis for shopping in the Medina or La Marsa for good beaches.
There is a well-stocked supermarket at the bottom of the hill.
If you plan to explore Sidi Boussaid - this is your perfect address! With only a few rooms Dar Fatma is a very cozy private hotel where one is only few steps away from the local market in Sidi Boussaid. It has great views, very properly furnished, with Tunisian charme, and it is very well looked after. The staff provided information regarding Sidi Boussaid, which was helpful. Personally I appreciated a lot the acceptance of the owner of the hotel regarding the duration changes of my stay, although it was within the last 48h.
I was so lucky to find this magical RBNB apartment I’m beyond happy to stay there. the host is extremely welcoming and helpful I booked last minute and he met us super fast and handed us the keys. The apartment was so clean and tidy, it is soo cozy the decoration is amazing, every corner is instagramable. It is well equipped it immediately make you feel like home. What an amazing stay I will definitely come back this is my new stay in Sidi Bou Said I highly recommend it.
Amazing. Located in the heart of Sidi Bou Said, you can walk up the hill to the picturesque area in five minutes, or to the tram station that takes you to the various ruins of Carthage. Across the street you have the post office (though they don't take packages), ice cream shop, bank, and a bunch of cafes and restaurants. The beach is close as well. The owner is incredibly kind and very, very helpful. The value is unbelievable, stay here and you won't regret it!
I had a great three night stay at Maison Dedine. The hotel was impeccably designed, breakfast was delicious and staff was very friendly. Love the ocean view from my room and also from the common spaces. The infinity pool is stunning and since there are only five rooms in this hotel, you can enjoy the pool to yourself. You can even ask the hotel to exchange local currency.
Mouhib was extremely nice & generous. He picked me up & returned me to Tunis, showed me around Sidi Bou Said & Carthage and was kind enough to by coffee, breakfast, and EVEN loaned me some dinar at the louage station when I was short. I was also able to do laundry there, which was a huge bonus after more than a week if traveling!
I had a fantastic time staying here for four nights. The location was great — close to old town but not touristy and quiet. Plus, there’s a rooftop to enjoy stunning sunrise and sunset. The host Beji was perfect—thoughtful and friendly. He is absolutely a guarantee of wonderful stay in Sidi bou Said.
Very cute, traditional place. The location is ideal if you're looking to stay in the heart of Sidi Bou Said, it's on a quiet little backstreet. Breakfast (hard-boiled egg, mini-yogurt, lots of bread, no fruit) was included and was very pleasant to enjoy in courtyard.
The hotel is very nice and cozy. Fabulous design and location. The staff are friendly with a smile on their faces and were more than happy to assist.
I really enjoyed every second of my stay here.
Strongly recommended for people searching for a unique experience.
staying in Olivia guest house was more wonderful than I expected and the hosts were extremely helpful. I felt as if I am at home.. I am looking forward to go Tunisia again and staying in the same place. Thank you Eya&Abbes
The style is super clean and modern easy for the eyes and host is very kind and you can feel the soul of sidi bou said on him, I would definitely recommend and do it again.
Great welcome from the host
The studio is very cute and clean, so typical from Sidi Bou Said
Location is perfect, next to Sidi Bou Said centre
Good price too
