Sidi Bou Said, Tunisia, was an amazing place to stay.
Sidi Bou Said, Tunisia, was an amazing place to stay. The town's vibrant blue and white architecture, delicious food, and friendly people made it a truly memorable experience. I also enjoyed seeing the many street cats that were a part of the town's charm.

A beautiful little town, full of local charm, everything you need is within walking distance, cheap public transport. Its an extremely safe and hospitable place with very friendly people. My partner could walk around at night, enjoying the warm nights (in december),feeling safe while, she enjoyed feeding the beautiful cats that roam the streets. We both work from home, so it was important to have a good quality internet, and the WiFi was of great quality and very reliable.

liked the vibe, the white & blue buildings
But did not like how persistent shop assistants can get.
My favourite place was Le Villa Blue & Ben Rahim Cafe
I ate pasta
Very easy to get around Sidi Bou Saiid
On my next visit, I would avoid going when hot season started.

This is a moment in time that grows better and better: a retreat from a 100 years ago for artists and intellectuals and Tunisians who prize the mountain top view of the bay and the city below, the white and blue houses, and the quiet. It has its own rewards and none of the rush or noise found in similar such places. It's a gem that has yet to be ruined.

Sidi Bou Said is a Unesco village located on top of a cliff, hence the view from the terrace of the property. and there is always a light breeze, much appreciated in high temperature. It is full of character, quiet and quaint. It is pedestrianised. Tends to be busy with tours and in the evenings with locals coming for fresh air, but that's part of the atmosphere.
Transport is also good - the train at the bottom of the hill goes to Tunis for shopping in the Medina or La Marsa for good beaches.
There is a well-stocked supermarket at the bottom of the hill.
With an amazing sunset view from the massive terrace and a spacious 3 bedroom apartment centrally located in the heart of Sidi Bou Said, it was an amazing place for a family stay. Very easy communication for smooth check-in, the well equipped kitchen, washing machine and good wifi connection made the stay even more comfortable. The two rooms with fans were very pleasant to sleep even during the summer. You have everything you need in the flat for a holiday stay there. Highly recommended.
It is a villa so we had no breakfast. The location is great if central Sidi Bou Saed is your focus. The villa has 4 bedrooms with more space available for kids to sleep. The sqaure footage is big enough for a group. All the amennities are there that you would look for in a whole house. The rooftop view is fantastic for sunrises and sunsets. It is a classic French design found all over Sidi Bou Saed. Many restaurants and great views are very close walking distance from the villa.
Breakfast was excellent. Beautiful room and view of the Mediterranean. I also enjoyed the art and the really special new and vintage art books. Loved taking a dip in the pool in the morning after breakfast and in the afternoon light. Wonderful looking at the boatyard and sea. Friendly, helpful staff. Great room and patio. Beautiful property. Professional staff. The Medina at Sidi Bou Said, which is also a beautiful place, is a few minutes away.
My wife and I had a lovely stay at la Menara.
We experienced the warmest of welcome Tunisia is so famous for.
Overlooking the Tunis bay in the scenic Sidi Bou Said town.
Beautifully decorated rooms, spa and very professional staff who made our stay so enjoyable.
A truly lovely place that I will come back to on my next trip to Tunis.
The hotel was SO cute and in a fabulous location! I only stayed for one night, spending less than 12 hours in my room, but the hotel allowed me to leave my things all day and even spend time while I waited for my late-night flight! the view from their balcony is incredible and all the staff was very kind and helpful. Wonderful place!
Very easy-going and friendly hosts. The apartment is cozy and has everything you need. There is a really nice rooftop where you can have breakfast or watch an incredible sunset! It's just outside the busy streets of Sidi Bou Saïd, but still within walking distance. Parking in front of the apartment was also a big plus!
The apartment was spotlessly clean and provided everything we needed for a short stay incl. some groceries for breakfast. Youssef was always communicating and available for any questions. the location is superb. Restaurants and groceries are easily available within a short walk. we felt very comfortable.
Old and beautiful villa in the middle of Sidi Bou Said. Beautiful rooms which are warm even in the middle of winter. The host was very responsive and helpful. We were able to pay in advance by bank transfer. Parking was possible in front of the villa.
the accommodations were exceptional, everything you can imagine was thought of from amenities to service. the rooms are gorgeous, clean and comfortable and the common spaces are Devine. the very best part however is the team that works at the hotel.
Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service !great value for money and service was attentive and efficient, big thanks to the lovely lady SALWA!Room itself was well equipped and comfortable
Just a few steps walk away from an eternal view of the sea. This boutique hotel has all that you need for staying in Sidi Bou Saidi. The shower was warm, and the bed was comfortable. It was clean and calm with a charming garden.
Very nice apartment in a very quiet part of Sidi Bou Saïd, well-equipped and with beautiful art on the walls. At one stage Youssef also brought us some excellent homemade fish couscous. Many thanks!
The host! Such nice and welcoming gentleman. He picked us up from the airport, showed us around, gave us tips on the best food and activities in Sidi Bou Said.
Very happy with the hospitality
The owner is such a good person, you feel welcome from the first moments, and the place is too close to the heart of sidi bou said
And it’s a real safe place
The apartment is very welcoming. It has a great location for visiting Sidi Bou Saïd and just a few minutes away from the train station that connects to Tunis
