We drove to the city center and took pictures of the Trogan horse used in the movie of Troy. There are restaurants and pastry shops all along the waterfront. It's a great place for dinner and an evening stroll. We only walked along water front so I'm not able to comment on the rest of the city.

Really nice city, with good restaurants, a lot of shops and good people, it was also near to two turkish islands Bozcaada and Gökçeada, we got to visit Bozcaada and it was really lovely however the only possibility to get to the port is by car or bus. We loved the Naval museum, but you need around an hour-hour and a half to really visit everything.

Wonderful laid back city and surroundings; a great '' Citta Slow ''
Seaside city with wonderful views, nearby convenient public beaches, historical sites.
Wandering around in Ancient city of Troy and watching sunset over Assos hilltop on Athena Temple with Seaside view were great and not to miss.
The dardanelles strait is beautiful on both sides and recommend to cross it with ferry boat for a soothing experience.
Do not forget to try local seafood, calamari and sweets of peynir helvasi.
Just watch out that on Monday some museums are closed.

Canakkale is MUCH cooler than what we expected.
Canakkale is MUCH cooler than what we expected. I recommend at least 3 nights there. We visited Gallipoli and Troy in one day but wished we had more time to spend just hanging out in Canakkale the town. Very young, cool population due to the university. Great places to go out at night also.
Our host, Resat, is a retired Naval officer, and speaks good English. He was very helpful in so many ways - no request was too much - he helped arrange a driver to take me to one of the nearby WW1 war graves, and he also helped to return a pair of expensive trainers to our hotel in Istanbul. What a kind man. The hotel is very convenient for the local ferry service which connects to Canakkale, and Eceabat is a short taxi drive for Gallipoli tours, restaurants etc. Rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was superb - the Full Turkish.
Canakkale is a lively and friendly town and the apartment is located in a central position, down a small side street buzzing with restaurants, cafes and shops and is about 100m from the quay and ferry port. The owner is charming, hugely helpful and speaks English very well. We stayed there in early January and the comfortable apartment was lovely and warm. It’s in fact the second time that we have stayed there and if we return to Canakkale we’d certainly return to stay there again.
The hotel is situated in the port along with a beautiful view over the seafront. Downstairs you have the restaurant where you can enjoy turkish cuisine and of course the morning breakfast. The room was very comfortable and can easily accommodate a family of 3. With a 1 minute walk to the Troyan Horse its definitely a place to return on our future quests in Turkey.
Perfect location
Sparkly cleaning
Friendly and helpful owner
Although it is not a luxury boutique hotel but considering the reasonable price it was over our expectations
He gave us an upgrade from one bedroom apartment to a tow bedroom apartment for free.
We LOVED our stay in your place Mostafa and DEFINITELY would come back again.
Tashakoor.
A beautiful hotel. Lovely modern modern rooms with nice views. Clean functional and, importantly in summer, cool! The whole complex was beautiful and very modern with great indoor and outdoor pools and bar areas. Breakfast was the best we had in Turkey.....magnificent! The staff were friendly, helpful and polite. A wonderful experience!
The hotel manage arranged a private tour for my party & our tour guide was AMAZING. Her name was Kevser Kaya, such an amazing person & very knowledgeable. I would come back to the area just to see our tour guide again & will definately stay at the hotel again! The manager & staff as amazing and breakfast so fresh & delicious.
The location was close to everything and the hotel provided parking. The Staff are very friendly and kind. I only stayed the night as I was en route to another destination, however I would stay there again as it's close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Great location for exploring the city.
It was excellent experience, I advise everyone who will go to Çanakkale to booking in this hotel, everyone is good form the reception to the last worker in this hotel, the breakfast was amazing 😍, cleaning, service....all. Çanakkale beautiful city with beautiful people.
We stayed overnight at the hotel on our way to Kosovo, we arrived late and left early in the morning so did not have many opportunities to enjoy neighbourhood. We discovered seaside walking area early in the morning. I would love to go back and enjoy the place properly.
Nice weekend hotel near Canakkale. Comfortable room, really nice and rich served breakfast. Lovely garden with a la carte restaurant and a nice atmosphere in the evening. Staff eager to please even though communication in English is difficult.
We were a group of 6 staying in one of the larger family rooms. The hotel is located in a great spot, walking distance from the marina full of great restaurants and nightlife. We really enjoyed the breakfast served here.
The location of this hotel is perfect, really close to the tourist attractions and many restaurants and night life. The room size was big, the hotel is clean and complete amenities.
A very nice and modern small hotel near the center of Canakkale. City center is in the walking distance. Area is quiet and surroundings are walkable. Staff members are very helpful.
The room spacious and comfortable, the location was very nice and quite. There is a swimming pool and a beach in front of the hotel.
We like very much the menu in the restaurant.
It's a lovely and cosy boutique hotel. The room was well-decorated with organic, eco-friendly and good-quality products. The owner and staff were very helpful during our stay.
