Days Inn Bakersfield Good 7.3 Lovely pool & gardens, excellent breakfast menu. Plenty of eating establishments within walking distance. Would definitely return there.

Best Western Hill House, Bakersfield Good 7.7 Husband and I stayed there 4 nights and enjoyed our stay. Great location. Lit parking and secured doors for guest only with key entry. Rooms were clean. Good value for a nice room. Will stay again.
Vagabond Inn Bakersfield North Pleasant 6.6 everything this my favorite place just to relax and get away.
Bakersfield Inn & Suites Pleasant 6.1 The price for the room was very good
Best Western Crystal Palace, Bakersfield Good 7.3 We stayed at this hotel for couple days. Very good breakfast. Nice room and very good king bed. Outdoor pool is good. Wi-fi is fast. Reception guy opened door to the laundary at 22:00 - big plus to this hotel.
EZ 8 Motel Bakersfield Pleasant 6.7 The staff was very friendly, helpful and courteous. Great to check in early before my eye surgery so my sister would have a place to go while waiting for me to get out of surgery to come back to pick me up. The surgery place had a very small waiting area not very comfortable for a 2-hr wait. The room was clean, comfortable bed, and plenty of room to walk around bed. The refrigerator was a plus. Extra towels were great, too. My sister and I would stay here on our next visit.
Historic Downtowner Inn, Bakersfield Pleasant 6 Very close to Downtown. The Amtrak is only a few blocks. The staff was very kind, especially Jesse, the desk clerk. You need a key to get on the elevator. I felt very safe because of that feature. This is the first time I see that at a hotel and I think that's brilliant!
