Days Inn Brooklyn Pleasant 6.2 This hotel staff members were very friendly. Breakfast was good. The hotel and room was very clean. This hotel is in the heart of many places to east and stores that stay open all night. The train is right there. Literally 2 and a half blocks away. I enjoyed my stay. I will definitely stay again
Hotel Le Bleu Very good 8.1 Awesome night staff, great stay. My permanent hotel choice for bk
Lexington Inn Pleasant 6 The attitude of the staffs and the cleanliness of the hotel
NU Hotel Excellent 8.8 I loved the big bright room with white walls, a white bed, but with colorful painting on the wall behind the bed. Staying for three weeks I appreciated the table for work and eating, the comfortable chair and reading lamp, the great walk-in shower and the comfortable corner by the window where I had my daily breakfast. It is a lovely, well cared for hotel, perfectly located. My room was quiet, I appreciated that the window could be opened. A very good experience to be repeated for sure.
Hotel Le Jolie Excellent 8.7 it was our second stay at the jolie hotel and also this time we were happy with our choice. Comfortable room, Excellent staff and breakfast (in particular I want to make special mention of Helen) and good position (just 5 minutes walk to L train to Manhattan).
Kings Hotel Good 7.3 Cleanliness, friendly, and comfortable beds, please don't change the mattresses were very comfortable.
Sumner Hotel Good 7.1 Good room, nice continental breakfast, helpful staff.
Midwood Suites Brooklyn Pleasant 6.9 price, location, comfort, size of room
Brooklyn Motor Inn Pleasant 6.6 I love this place. When I need to relax and unwind, I come here. Love all of you, at the Brooklyn Motor Inn. Bklyn, New York
The Box House Hotel Excellent 8.9 Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The 1 mile taxi service was excellent, and more than a mile on occasion. Location was great, Box Street is very quiet and easy to walk to the L train. I used to always stay in midtown, but my mind is changed now from the relaxed and hip location. Everyone cycles in this part of town, or runs. Make use of the local Flea market on Sunday or the food festival. Water ferries to Manhattan are a nice way of getting around as well. There are tons of kids parks in the area if you have a family.
Galaxy Motel Pleasant 6 good motel for an inexpensive weekend overnight.
Hotel Bliss - Brooklyn Good 7 We loved everything. The staff was wonderful, and the room was very home-y.
Atlantic Motor Inn Fair 5.4 Convenience of location and relatively clean. Staff was friendly and parking was superb. Service was excellent with clean towels, etc. as requested. The bed slept well.
Henry Norman Hotel Wonderful 9.2 The room we got was very spacious and clean. The design and decoration was right up our alley and the furniture was comfortable. The staff were fantastic! Took care of us right away and always greeted us on our way in/out. We checked in late and pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade! Kevin gave us all the info we need and great recommendations for local eats. I could tell he really loves the area, and his enthusiasm made us want to get around and discover it ourselves. Extras: great complementary wifi. Car service to and from anywhere within 1 mile of the hotel came in handy after a long day of walking about in Manhattan -- they picked us up at the ferry dock. Location: behind the hotel was mostly industrial and everywhere else close by was residential - families and kids. A nice park is just down the street. We enjoyed being able to come back to a quiet neighbourhood at the end of a day spent amid the hustle of Midtown Manhattan or Coney Island.
Sleep Inn Prospect Park South Good 7.9 I've stayed in a few smaller hotels in NY and this is by far the BEST!! The bed and tv was huge! The room was small but the room was used perfectly for the size. The bed was so comfortable and inviting. After a 14 hr drive and a morning wedding it was AMAZING

    The Giant of New York

Immortalized in popular music, culturally diverse Brooklyn has achieved almost legendary status. On the western end of Long Island, across the East River from Manhattan, this huge NYC borough is so densely populated that if it were its own city, it would rank as the 4th largest in the US!

The borough is connected to Manhattan by 3 bridges: Williamsburg, Manhattan and the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. It's also connected to Staten Island by the lengthy Verrazano Narrows Bridge. Ocean-going liners pass under here before docking at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal in Red Hook. To the northeast, Brooklyn Bridge Park has some of the best views of the Manhattan skyline, while southeast is the huge Prospect Park.

On one edge is Brooklyn Museum, the country’s 2nd largest art gallery, and just behind is the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens whose cherry trees bloom a vibrant pink. To the east are some hotels near JFK Airport, and there are more in neighboring Queens.

At Brooklyn’s southernmost tip, Coney Island’s historic boardwalk has appeared in several films. Renovations are underway to bring it back to its former glory, and the revamped Luna features a historic wooden roller coaster. Also historic is the northern Greenpoint district with its elegant 19th-century houses.

Cheap Brooklyn hotels are great alternatives to accommodations in Manhattan, so check Booking.com for the best deals.

Hotels that guests love in Brooklyn

    • Free shuttle service in and around the area is a great bonus. The Williamsburg area itself whilst not beautiful in the traditional sense, is trendy, vibrant and fascinating. The hotel itself is an amazing loft conversion and the rooms are vast. I won't ever bother staying on Manhattan again. Give me Brooklyn and the Henry Norman every time.

    • Views of manhattan are great when walking over Pulaski bridge to the subway. 1 stop to grand central. Hotel will give you a lift if you don't like the walk. Also to Williamsburg with great bars and restaurants. Best meal was at 5 Leaves

    • super easy to get to Manhattan via subway, good breakfast, friendly staff, walking distance to Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg Brooklyn. Much cheaper than the equivalent hotel in Manhattan.

    • The hotel location was ideal for visiting my son who now lives near Prospect Park Brooklyn. We were steps away from the subway station for visits into Manhattan as well. Our room was very clean, quiet and attractive. Breakfast included was a great feature!

    • The location: walking distance to the Brooklyn Bridge, metro station behind the corner. The people working in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a shutle to/from the airport with a flat rate. Rooms were very quiet, clean and comfortable. The restaurant is really very good (I ate one of the best burgers in my life).
