DeWitt Place Very good 8.4 -location: Downtown, Hancock Tower and Magnificent Mall (shopping etc.) just a few minutes away, small grocery next to hotel and other grocery's (like Trader Joe's) about 5-10 minutes away, next train station Chicago Red Line also about 5 minutes away, Oak Street Beach next to hotel (very beautiful) -nice staff, very helpful and friendly -booklet in room with very good informations (like Wi-Fi, grocery, dining, shopping locations, train information) -free computer and printer use (very useful for Web Check-In) -kitchen (all facilities and dish-liquid available)
Hyatt Regency Chicago Very good 8.5 Love the amazing view from my Hyatt room and location of hotel. The riverboat architectural tour was awesome so was Giordano's right around the corner. Also conveniently located near the magnificent mile.

HI Chicago Hostel Excellent 8.7 The best hihostel that i have been. It is very large, very well located, common room is also big. Big kitchen in the second floor, and one little kitchen in every floor. Breakfast good enough. Surprisingly the bed was really confortable, good mattress and good mattress base. Located in the famous loop of Chicago.
Congress Plaza Hotel Good 7.2 As everybody... location is excelent, in my side the room I got had the most expectacular view of the Lake. Room very comfortable, staff really nice and everything around great!

Ohio House Motel Good 7.7 Astonishing and outstanding customer service. If not the only existing motel in downtown north end. It's in the eatery location of Chicago, a few blocks from magnificent mile for shopping, walking distance to state st and other downtown areas. Red line station is nearby. They do offer free parking if you have a car but you need to ring to confirm or book a spot

Thanks for luxury attention in a budget hotel. Smoking availability a plus.

    • I came to Chicago to see a concert and check out the city. I didn't need a 5 star hotel with all the frills because I wasn't going to be in it. I just needed a clean, safe place to crash after rocking out and Urban Lofts was perfect. The staff was awesome and super helpful!
