Adobe Inn Durango Pleasant 6.6 Location and cost very nice place. Would defiantly stay there again.
Best Western Mountain Shadows Good 7.9 The front desk manager was very sweet and helpful
Best Western Durango Inn & Suites Good 7.6 Everything! The staff had the extra pillows that we asked for. The breakfast was more then we expected.
Budget Inn Durango Okay 5.7 We were located in an area that was safe to walk wherever we wanted. We had access to shops, restaurants, convenience and grocery stores,
The Ferringway Resort Condominiums Very good 8 Everything was there, extra towels, blankets, pillows, movies, games, cooking utensiles and pots and pans, etc. and plenty of space.
Super 8 Durango Good 7.4 Arrived late night and the young man at the front desk was very helpful.
Durango Resort Wonderful 9.3 Pretty much liked everything about the place. Ended up really enjoying the full kitchen facilities, though that wasn't why we initially selected this location. Tyler, at the front desk, was awesome, suggesting places to eat and helping us with everything in general. Location was terrific; walking distance to the train depot for the trip to Silverton (our main reason for going to Durango), and tons of restaurants all within a couple blocks. The only minor negative is I seemed to be a little bit allergic to the citrus scented cleaner used in the room. The train whistle never bothered us.
Iron Horse Inn Very good 8 I love how spacious the rooms are, with the bi-level floorplan. This was awesome with two teenagers! The onsite gameroom was an added bonus for them. It's hard to find hotels these days where you can pull right up to the door of your room and not sacrifice size. Most hotels that are one level have small rooms. It was really great to be able to spread out a little at such an affordable price (especially for the area). We had been traveling for two weeks across the country and this hotel was one of the best ones we stayed in for the price, space, and comfort (compared to other chain hotels in the mid price range). The bed sheets were so soft! Plus it included a pretty decent continental breakfast. Not bad for a little over a $100 a night.
