Close to Long Beach and close enough to LAX and to cruise...

Close to Long Beach and close enough to LAX and to cruise terminal. Other than the fact that it was cheap, there is nothing really that I could recommend Harbor City. Quite a few takeaway places but not all open (due probably to COVID) but limited actual restaurants unless you wanted takeaway/fast food only. Bus runs every 40 minutes (if you have the right pass). It is not a destination place - just somewhere I think that people drive through to get to somewhere else. However its close to a big medical facility so if you have to stay close to the hospital, possibly a good cheap option (especially if you don't want or need a good nights sleep).

Please READ especially for those in ROOM 208!!!

Please READ especially for those in ROOM 208!!! The area was average and you get what you paid for. Check in was easy , we checked in before 2pm which was nice since we drove a long way here to LA. I just have minor issues about checking out. They did ask us for $100 cash deposit prior, not the issue. The room we checked into was just being cleaned when we got handed our key. The walls were dirty, there was tape on the wall at the foot of the bed. Some tagging on the door frame that I took a picture of because i didnt want to be blamed for it! I walk into the restroom and im cleaning off the toothpaste splatters on the wall under the mirror. The door frames were dirty, and there was a small crack on the bathroom sink! Now i did not let it be known to the manager when I saw it. Since they had just cleaned it!! But my mistake was not letting him know because on my check out day he was trying to blame me and yelled at me like I was incompetent. He was sure it was us that broke that sink and now we have to leave our deposit ! Clearly we didnt do this! It took a call to someone else in charge to let us have our deposit! Never have I experienced this and I felt horrible being blamed for something I know i didnt do. Wont be coming here again is for sure. I rather pay extra than to have myself be talked down the way I was! But the city was beautiful ! So many things to see and the beach is so close by it was the highlight of our short trip!

It waa nice!!! I had my son my son girlfriend and my dog. The onlything you should have is Microwaves in the rooms and fridges not just onel room with 2 beds in it. Do it like Lomita motel 6 every room has a fridge and microwave I stayed there a month ago .

Harbor Inn on Pacific Coast Highway in Harbor City is a pleasant motel. At its price, it's wonderful. Checking in was smooth. The staff was efficient and professional. Our Room 115 had a unique and contemporary design and was spotless. The large bed with a firm mattress had four pillows. There were even gratis chips, cookies and bottled waters on the nightstand The pristine bathroom was well-appointed and offered a tub with the shower. The lobby coffee was hot and flavorful as I checked out.

Great hotel , staff are friendly and helpful. When we arrived because my husband was on crutches the gentleman on the desk straight away asked if we would like to change to a disabled room on the lower ground. Hotel is one of the cleanness I've ever stayed at , it was spotless. Great location for public transport. Lots of places to eat but isn't near to anything else, good thing is the bus stop is straight outside and easy to use to get to Long beach ect.

Location and room size. I travel often to LA for medical reasons and this is my favorite hotel. I have stayed in few different ones and always go back to this one. I love that every room includes a refrigerator and microwave, they used to provide a coffee maker. not sure why they do not longer have it. Floors are sometimes dirty or damaged but I have seen worse. But I will recommend this place 1000% the staff are very nice and that’s a plus!

Very clean, updated and modern. Looks like they take very good care of each room. I would rent an apartment if it looked like this. Fridge, stove, microwave is way more than what most hotels provide. I was very surprised at how nice this place was compared to neighboring hotels that I have stayed at.

It exceeded my expectations. The room inside is modern such as a luxury hotel room. The receptionist was polite and super friendly. The location is awesome, there is a Brazilian pizza restaurant nearby and it was delicious. Also, a bus stop in front of this place and it goes to the beach.

For the area this location is much more value for approx the same price as other places that can be pretty bad. This place is clean, professional, far more of what you want. Beware there are some very bad hotels in the area.
