We booked a stay for my in-laws wedding anniversary from far away. They staff was so helpful making sure they put all the charges in our tab, so my in-laws didn't have to worry about payment. They.made sure my family was taken care of and had a wonderful time.

We were there less than 24 hours due to work interference :) So we didn't actually do anything except he walked to concert and felt very safe. I stayed at Lodge and enjoyed the breathtaking view.

Horrible musty smell, too late to change to a hotel nearby cause I had a wedding to attend. Didn’t sleep well due to smell. Left early in morning. Manager called and gave me a refund of $33 of the $140 I paid. This room shouldn’t have been used until the musty smell was taken care of.

Someone stole the antenna off my new truck in the parking lot of chatuge Lodge, locals were very friendly, but things in stores were very expensive, and the restaurant coffee was un drinkable from any of them!! We reserved a boat rental on line but the guy never contacted us until 4pm and said I can have it in the water in an hour!! WTF who rents a boat at 5:pm
We went home early very disappointed

Loved the area Daniel's Steak House and Waffle House good, attended a craft show with music. Will do reunion there next year and maybe cook out night before. Stayed at Boundary Water Resort, which had water things available we did not take advantage of. A Pickle Ball court was on main highway.
We loved how quaint the lodges were. The breakfast was adequate with choices of cereals, bagels, muffins, cakes, fruit, along with tea/coffee available all day and fruit juices for breakfast. The decor was in keeping with the hotel and was kept very clean at all times. Lovely lounge area with roaring fireplace.
Staff were always very friendly and on hand if you needed anything.
Location was perfect for our son at Young Harris College.
Views were amazing
We will definitely be returning.
Hiawassee is a great little town and from here we had good access to the various hiking areas and mountain sites. Our hostess, Linda, and her beautiful labradoodle, Ali, were very welcoming. The breakfasts were perfect and Linda always provided cookies for our daily outings. A hot tub & sauna were available and inviting but we didn't use them. Linda was able to provide information about the area and always had an ear for learning about our daily adventure.
We absolutely loved this place! It was conveniently located to things to do in Hiawassee and surrounding area. The room was perfect. Loved the decor and it was very clean. Loved the access to the hot tub, fire pit and picnic area on the river. The host was very responsive. We will definitely stay here again!
We rented two rooms at this hotel and were very pleased. They are older but clean and very comfortable. We rented a suite that had everything we needed. The staff was amazing and very helpful. So convenient and affordable to rent boats and they had kayaks to use that were included. A great time!
BEST place we ever stayed. We'd be happy living there. Beautifully decorated comfortable cabin with tons of amenities. Friendly owner. They thought of everything. Located in center of recreation in mountains, lake, antiquing district. This place has it all at a great price!
Really nice location, we had a great view on the lake from our room. The AC worked well and room was quite comfortable, not too small. Plenty of parking spaces outside. Hotel personal were really nice.
Hot drink /coffee tea all the time available for free in the lobby.
The property was lovely. Off the beaten path and very peaceful. Mariah and Dave were perfect hosts, and the breakfasts were 5⭐️. We are already looking forward to a return visit to Hiawassee and Henson Cove Place!!
