Ithaca was fantastic. I enjoyed shopping but when I got to Country Inn and Suites the pool was defunct and the sofa bed was filthy and unchanged from the previous guest. They would offer no discount for the defunct pool.

Ithica is all about Cornell University.
Ithica is all about Cornell University. Downtown Ithica has a pedestrian area known as The Commons with many shops and restaurants. Ithica is a hilly town with very steep streets. As a result there are two significant and scenic gorges that have hiking trails and waterfalls. The downtown area is flat. Parking on streets and in garages is free on weekends otherwise it is all paid parking. Parking on the Cornell campus is by permit only except in parking garages. The Cornell campus is very scenic. We dined at Collegetown Bagels, Trillium cafeteria on campus, Ithica Brewery, Maru Raman, and Yellow Deli. We enjoyed them all.

It is not the first time I have used this accommodation, although it is an old place, it was always clean, but this time as soon as I entered the room the smell of a dirty bathroom was unbearable. I tried opening windows and turning on the air, but nothing changed, I realized that the toilet was dirty with ease, I had to go ask to change my room and the second room did not smell like the first, but It did need more cleanliness in the bathroom and when I got up I found a cockroach walking around the bathroom. I feel sad can not return to this accommodation because it was very convenient for me, close to my son's school and close to almost everything

I totally enjoy all of my trips to Ithaca .
I totally enjoy all of my trips to Ithaca . I live only one hour away. It’s a nice town to visit and shop in and eat in and visit. The galleries in the area are very well kept I am looking to be there more frequently.
The art culture is very supportive, which I enjoyed. The commons is an area that inspires creativity, partnership, and Community and I really enjoy that. Since I do need to use the bus system, I find a relatively easy to do so getting around is not a problem. I have yet to visit any area that I would not visit after dark. My main concentration is a Commons in the hotel for that one or two days visit.
The room was fantastic. We had a king one-bedroom suite. There was a galley kitchen (full-size fridge, stove top, dishwasher, sink, dishes, silverware) plus small dining table; we also had a sofa bed, which was perfect for our college-bound son the night(s) he stayed with us. Plenty of room for all of us, especially since we brought our meals back to the room, rather than eating indoors with strangers. Breakfast was pretty standard hotel fare - totally adequate, with sufficient choices.
The GreyHaven is a wonderful place in Ithaca! This is a family run operation and they have renovated all the rooms! The outdoor facilities include Adirondack chairs around several fire pits and there's wood to start a fire too provided with the room. The attention of the owners was wonderful and I cannot express how accommodating they were. We went to Ithaca beer and the owner even offered to pick us up if necessary.
Pick this "motel" for accommodations in Ithaca!!!!
I liked that both the indoor and outdoor pools were open good hours and were clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The continental breakfast was appealing and very tasty. Our son and grandsons joined us for breakfast one morning and the staff was very accomodating. There were a few tour buses overnight one night and the hotel was still fairly quiet. The location was perfect for the event we were attending that weekend.
The space was so beautiful and like a cozy BNB but with the cleanliness and space of a hotel. The staff were not overly friendly but still very friendly and gave great service. They were very communicative and I felt that they knew we were coming and were prepared for our arrival. Within walking distance of the downtown commons and restaurants and they have a great cocktails and seating to lounge. Overall a great experience!
room was good, fitted 4 of us, rooms were quiet. Beds were comfortable though I initially felt that they could be c;leaner as the oversheet was dark in color and it was difficult to determine if it was clean. Liked the location near the big stores - walmart, coffee shops and restaurants, old navy etc. easy connection by bus to the rest of Ithaca. Cleaning ladies and the reception were pleasant.
We're soo appreciate all jobs and very kind staff and workers all support and help us with any questions and services. We're super happy that we made the right choice to stayed at The Statler Hotel. We love everything here that makes we feel so special. Thank you.
Friendly and helpful staff, loved our room - great size and super comfortable. Great location, walking distance to Ithaca town. Lovely breakfast area with teas/coffees/water. Great bar area with a nice vibe in evenings and a good cocktail menu. Would stay again!
location is excellent with a few minutes drive to Ithaca commons. there is a grocery store next store which is a super bonus! The staff is courteous, friendly n accommodate us with our two big dogs without any issues. I highly recommend this place!
Free parking was very helpful. Quiet area. Single bed was comfortable. In a college town where hotels are very expensive, this hotel seems like a good deal (even though not cheap) for anyone who needs to go to campus daily.
The reception staff was attentive and professional. The room was spacious and clean. The location is very good, and close to the center with most of the restaurants in Ithaca. The free coffee in the lobby was appreciated.
The hotel is close to Cornell Univ, just about 7 mins drive, on the other side of Ithaca..Very clean motel. Quick breakfast available starting at 630 comprising of cereal fruits milk coffee tea. Highly recommended
close to Ithaca College and town of Ithaca
motel had inner hallway so seemed more secure
everything was very clean
room backed up to a field with groundhogs and geese
all of the staff were friendly and helpful
I’m not exaggerating, this is a great hotel in Ithaca area. The host, Robert, is a great guy and he will make sure everything you needed is available. Feels like a luxury dorm.
Great location. Designed principally as a summer resort, we stayed one night on route from Toronto to New York City. It was a perfect overnight stop close to Ithaca.
