Key West is a gem of an island in the Florida Keys, popular with pleasure seekers and history buffs alike. As the most southern destination in the continental United States, Key West has a fascinating history, dating back to its settlement by Spanish explorers in the 16th century.

Today, this little island off the coast of Florida attracts over a million cruise visitors a year through the Port of Key West. Visitors come to see Hemingway House, where Ernest Hemingway penned "A Farewell to Arms." Key West Cemetery provides a unique walk through the multicultural past of the city. There are also trolley rides through the historic district of Jackson Square.

There’s more than just history to Key West, however. Smathers Beach is a place to have fun in the sun, while Mallory Square provides the chance to shop and watch a magnificent sunset. The excellent bus system helps you get around the island without a car.

Key West International Airport is a mere 4 miles from Duval Street, the heart of downtown and a good place to stay for easily exploring the nearby sights. With accommodations ranging from resorts to B&Bs, Booking.com helps you get the best stay for the best price in Key West!

    • Nice location to Louie's and the breakfast at the Southernmost Hotel on the beach is a must. It is clean and a good value. If you want luxury, don't stay here. But if you want cheap and clean - it the place.

    • The location is good. Not a long walk to downtown. Price is better than most motels in Key West. Very expensive for what you get, but cheaper than most other places. The feel of this motel is 1950's Key West. A very retro feel. The patios and pool are nice.

    • Staff was super nice. Lots of parking spots. Location. Expensive (like everything in Key West) - but compared to other resorts in Key West it's actually cheap.

    • Just a short walk to the famous Duval Street with free on-site parking. The staff were excellent and sold us tour bus tickets (which is a must do activity). The hotel is located in the 'old town' which is why is has an unusual layout. Key West isn't cheap to stay in but the location of this hotel made it reasonable value for money. Must visit the Ingham (a ship used in World War II).

    • Booked this hotel for just one night on a flying visit to Key West. Asked for an upgrade to get a balcony overlooking to sea to watch the sunset. Well worth it, although not cheap. Excellent hotel with good facilities and friendly staff. We were lucky that there was not a cruise ship in as that would have spoilt the sunset. As it was, it was magical sitting on the balcony watching the sun go down sipping a G&T!
