What was the most entertaining thing you saw in Las Vegas?

Jersey Boys at night and the eruption of the volcano at the Mirage. Side trip if you rent a car, the Mohave Desert in the Nevada State Park a great side trip that is about an hour drive but has lots to see and explore for a whole day. Advice though, pack a picnic lunch. They have only a few snacks and soft drinks for sale at the Visitor's Center. There is no per person admission fee, just $10 to drive in. The Hoover Dam is close too and is mildly entertaining. Not worth the admittance fee per person, the long lines and $10 parking. You can drive across to the Arizona side, park for free, and just look at the Dam and not do the tour. You can get the interesting info on the Dam from books or over the internet.

Take a Chance in Sin City

Famed for its glamorous casinos, celebrity visitors and endless streams of entertainment, Las Vegas buzzes with activity 24/7. Located in the heart of the Nevada desert, this city is called the Entertainment Capital of the World for a reason.

You can stroll down Fremont Street in old Las Vegas like a member of the Rat Pack or act like a modern high-roller at Caesar’s Palace. Prepare for a long night as the neon lights of clubs and casinos will tempt you to sink into the world of gambling and music.

Las Vegas is renowned of its fine dining, great shopping and live performances of famous artists and comedians. Right from the moment you leave McCarran International Airport you can try your luck at a slot machine, but you might want to wait until you get to the Las Vegas strip and the dozens of larger than life casinos.

When you’re ready for a break from the bustle of the city, visit the nearby Hoover Dam with the largest man-made lake, Lake Mead. The Paiute Indian Reservation in Vegas’ downtown area offers something a bit more spiritual.

Whichever type of accommodation you choose, whether a skyscraper hotel or a design city apartment, you’ll never run out of fantastic activities in Sin City. Booking.com has the perfect place to stay for your Vegas vacation.

Hotels that Guests Love in Las Vegas

    • Location was good. Design of the hotel is very nice. All rooms are spacious and views are great. Good for kids as well. as it is very clean hotel. Unlike others on the strip. Elite people come and no cheap staff at the casino.

    • Location was excellent, heated pool even in winter, heaps of food and shopping options. The in room spa was a treat. We thought it was the best hotel on the strip after visiting a few others. It was modern and so classy! You can play the pokies at Caesars and drink maids will provide you with free drinks for a tip. Pretty cheap way to have a few drinks!

    • The best part about this hotel, is that it is very close to the Las Vegas Convention Center and just a very short walk is all that's needed to get there. It's also around $100 a nite, so it's cheap !

    • Location-amazing! We were upgraded to the Sky Suits - unbelievable!!!!!!! Free snacks and food! Impeccable housekeeping twice a day! Easily the best hotel on the strip, so classy! Would stay in the cheapest room and it would beat anywhere else!

    • Loved the bed, the rooms are nice. Loved the restaurants. The pool was great. The staff was very accommodating. I liked that it was not right on the strip in the middle of madness... Much more mellow. Great for kids. The mermaids were awesome and also loved the bass pro shop. It's cheaper if you call and book directly through the hotel.....
