I was just passing thru for a day.
I was just passing thru for a day. The restaurant I was planning on visiting is downtown. I was not aware before arriving that most of downtown closes at 2-3 pm. Made for some changes needed for venturing out in the evening.

Having graduated from the University of Memphis, we were excited to be able to attend the Auto Zone Liberty Bowl and then a Memphis basketball game the following night. There are plenty of excellent restaurants and activities to enjoy. Like any other large city, there are areas that you need to avoid. Overall, it is a nice visit,

Nothing. Horrible disgusting experience. Do not stay!
Nothing. Horrible disgusting experience. Do not stay! Rude nasty, hateful clerk. No phone refused to get a coffeepot, the phone did not work they never fixed it. The elevator did not work. Slamming doors. They were informed that I had back surgery but had to climb 3 flights of stairs and down a long hallway to the other side of the building. Requested another room but was told there was none. Nightmare from hell! Go at your own risk.
Great location near Graceland. Secured parking on-site and lots of staff. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool and gym on site. Lots of neat extra stuff like Elvis movies playing, live music, lawn toys and peanut butter sandwiches in the lobby in the evenings. Over all pretty neat hotel. The price for Friday night was more than double what we paid for our Thursday night, which I get. Would recommend coming during the week.
Convenient to highway, restaurants, etc. The outside of hotel was so so but then again most of Memphis was so so with litter. There was a motorcycle group staying at the hotel as well however I felt safe, my room was clean and all of the amenities worked properly. Other than the noise from the interstate I had a great stay and would stay again. The male clerk that checked me and my husband in on Friday was very nice.
Convenient location.
Nice breakfast which was included in the price
Staff were friendly and helpful in regard to local restaurants
Eve though downtown Memphis was very quite we loved the laid back
atmosphere and the variety of interesting sites to visit including The Civil Rights Museum, Lorraine Hotel, Sun studios and Graceland.
Loved our stay in this authentic music city that has not lost its soul. 😀
We did not stay at the property because it smelled like smoke: This after signing a form that had been photocopied so many times—and so poorly so, that some of the agreement was not legible. This hotel was under construction, so there was no room to park on our side of the hotel; or was in such an ugly part of Memphis, that O didn’t want to leave my car overnight.
Germantown was ok if you don’t plan on doing much. It is much farther from Memphis than portrayed in the write-up. This next comment is not a “like” but not the hotel’s fault. There was a barking dog down the hall that barked non-stop for hours. The front desk agent tried to reach the owners but could not, so she moved us to another room.
Hotel quite a way out of Memphis but it was a lovely hotel. A little walk to the bus stop to Downtown and the last bus back was 5.15. Free shuttle to Graceland. Hotel room very good and bed was comfortable. Hotel very clean. Breakfast good. Secure parking lot. Hotel next to a Mexican restaurant which we didn't try as it was very busy.
Check-in was fast and efficient. This was our third time staying at Hyatt Place Wolfchase Memphis and we love it for it’s cleanliness, friendly atmosphere and location. We also love that breakfast is included. We only wish breakfast would be available a while longer than 9am. Still an amazing hotel to stay in! Thank you!
Everything. Exterior of property is very clean and safe. From check in to check out everyone was polite and friendly. Hotel is very clean and comfortable from entrance to room. The restaurant breakfast buffet and service were good. Great location for the University of Memphis and surrounding Memphis area attractions.
Everything! We decided to stay one more night only because of the hotel! It´s really awesome! We have been traveling for almost 20 days and it´s the best hotel we had been.
Location, bed, room, kitchen, decoration, facilities, really good taste and it seems that everything was made to make us comfortable.
The hotel location is ideal to get to all the main attractions in Memphis. It's also close to Beale and walking distance to Sun Studio. We never felt unsafe in the hotel area. The restaurant in the hotel has good breakfast and dinners and the hotel staff were very helpful.
Proper alternative for hotels in a quiet neighborhood at Memphis center. Excellent accessibility to points of interest Graceland, Memphis zoo, Soul music museum, Grizzlies FEDEX stadium and many restaurants. laundry facilities and comfort beds. Home away from home.
It’s a beautiful new property that still has a few kinks. Definitely a great place to stay. I must say that most hotel restaurants are mediocre at best, but the food at Cimas was outstanding and the service was even better. What a jewel for downtown Memphis.
I liked everything about the property! I don’t see how anyone could leave a bad review. It was one of best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The room was so big, fancy looking, & clean. Definitely will be staying here again, whenever I visit Memphis.
The property was lovely, well appointed and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the room was a good size. There were food options onsite and we felt very safe at this hotel. The shuttles are good too. Very close to Graceland.
Location in center of downtown Memphis was excellent. Main lobby and bar was beautiful and a relaxing place for a cocktail and a snack. Shops and restaurant very good. Location and common areas make this hotel, rooms let it down.
Wonderful hotel!! Very welcoming staff, Lesley I believe on reception was so lovely and helpful, Nothing too much trouble!! Room excellent, magnificent views!! Breakfast best we have had on our road trip!!!
Staying in this historic hotel made our stay in Memphis - stunning hotel. The location is excellent. Lovely room.
Liked the separate bar to grab a drink in the morning.
Staff were friendly and hotel was very clean.
Perfect location for visiting Memphis, short walk from most places: Beale Street, Main Street etc, and parking was great!
