Visiting Nashville for the first time was great. Found everyone very friendly and helpful. Most people very happy walking around Third Ave. Lots of shops, bars and food. We visited Bar Louie quite often. For a survey they give you a free dish with corn chips which was quite hefty. Also ate at Paula Deen's,. Loved it.. It's right opposite the mall.

Two days in Nashville was perfect.
Two days in Nashville was perfect. We wanted to see and feel the vibe of Broadway and do some shopping for Western apparel. Pleasant surprises were the excellent food (try the amazing Locust if you can get a table) and the 12South district, which is cool for shaping and dining. Also, don't miss the view from the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridgewalking bridge across the Cumberland River.

The food was good.
The food was good. My favorite place was Friends in Low Places. Try their fried pickles. Out of this world. Do not get a drink at Freebird. On top of regular tax they charged us a 24% alcohol tax. We were informed everyone on Broadway charged this. That was a lie. The only place that charged that was Freebird. Gaylord Opryland Resort was beautiful.

Nashville is not quite like it was 20 years ago.
Nashville is not quite like it was 20 years ago. It has almost become over-flooded with tourists that it was lost its hometown feel. Yes, it is fun for a little bit, but you cannot even squeeze through the crowds, similar to NYC. I am also surprised no one said "Excuse me" or "I'm sorry", no matter how many times they ran into us or cut in front of us.
We stayed at the Home2 Suites Metro-center, which was the most peaceful part of our trip.
We visited The Thirsty Turtle, which was THE BEST. Ate at TrapHouz Wings and Velvet Taco. Definitely recommend all three.
DO NOT ORDER DOOR DASH FROM CATFISH KITCHEN. It is a scam. When it takes you to the restaurant it is a rundown Captain D's.

Great spot for music lovers for sure!
Great spot for music lovers for sure! Highly recommend for live music and bar hopping. If music isn't really your thing you may find it boring and repetitive to just go to bars.
Definitely recommend getting some Nashville chicken while here. They also have some great brunch/breakfast cafe's but many have lines around the building so make sure to get there early or get a reservation in advance if possible.
Getting around Nashville I am a bit split on. It seems some areas did have public transport but the bus stops don't have much signage to help you know where they stop at or go to. We drove around for the most part and finding parking can sometimes be a challenge and expensive. Definitely plan ahead on where you will park and have a back-up plan too.
I would skip out on the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The tickets were overpriced for what you get to see and there are so many other better museums that you could go to for a better price.
Breakfast was good to grab a coffee or juice & a quick bite. There wasn't a big variety, but what they did have, was good. Location was very good, easy to walk to so many great restaurants & a quick uber to downtown area (est. $12 -$15 per ride). You WILL pay to park Everywhere in Nashville! Parking at hotel was $45 per night.
Our room was Great, the mattress & pillows truly wonderful. They made up for the wifi that I couldn't access. Hotel was super clean. Hotel bar convenient, bartender 5 stars.
If you have a huge family and not needing to be near downtown, this hotel is perfect! We are a family of 9 and we had adjoining rooms. Adjoining rooms are not guaranteed but staff assured my family was comfortable. The hotel seem to be recently remodeled and they did an impeccable job! We did not have to opportunity to rest the breakfast so I have no opinion. But overall, when I return to Nashville and not needing to be near downtown, I will stay again!
Good location for Tennessee Titans stadium. Hotel provided a free shuttle bus to downtown Nashville although you can walk via the pedestrian bridge in about 15 minutes (a pleasant walk if it's not too hot). Good indoor pool (shaped like a guitar). Basic buffet style breakfast, nothing too fancy but enough to start your day (hot and cold options, coffee, juice, etc.). Good size rooms with walk in shower.
The room is very nice. Bed is really comfortable.
The hotel is also lovely with very accommodating staff, who are really motivated to look after you. The location is midtown Nashville - which is about 25-30 mins walk to downtown. It was perfect for us as we like to walk. Valet parking on site at $40/day. There are some restaurants close by.
My stay at Comfort Inn Downtown Music City Center was fantastic! The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming, efficient, and attentive to my needs throughout my stay. The hotel's convenient location, comfortable accommodations, and exceptional service made for a truly memorable experience in the heart of Nashville.
Everything!! This hotel was a dream. Cheap 5-7 minute Uber ride to downtown, Germantown, and east Nashville spots. Absolutely beautiful lobby that you actually want to hang out in for coffee or drinks. Had to do a little work from there and it was perfect. The free coffee was a nice bonus! Huge pretty rooms.
The location is amazing if you want to stay in the heat of downtown Nashville. It's walking distance from most of Broadway. It was an amazing experience. The hotel is small and a little tight. But that's to be expected honestly. Trust me if you want to enjoy Nashville night life this is the place to stay.
I love all Cambria hotels, but this location, ambiance, hospitality and decor are out of this world. About 10-15 from downtown, super convenient and clean. The manager Baylie exceeded my expectations and made my solo birthday trip truly amazing! I’m coming back to Nashville just for this hotel!
Staff were great helpful, friendly the best I’ve had and I stay in many hotels , brilliant location near to everything, kick back 5.30 is great. Evening bar is a lovely drinks and food always good and entertainment every night.Breakfast always good. would highly recommend to anyone.
The view from our room overlooking Nashville was amazing. And so close to Broadway... aka Honky Tonk Highway. We loved the little sensor lights in the bottom of the bed which came on when you toes hit the floor. It was a perfect Hotel and destination. And we loved Nashville!
The whole hotel and room was stylish. Beautifully decorated. Full kitchen complete with plates, cutlery even salt and pepper. Very comfortable bed. Only 35 minute walk to the centre of Nashville. An affordable alternative to the much more expensive hotels downtown.
good location - close to many restaurants and not far from downtown even by foot; very comfortable bed, nice room size. people complain about valet parking and the price but that seems to be a theme across all of Nashville and not specific to Hayes Street Hotel.
Nice room, many restaurants nearby. We wanted to stay outside of Nashville and this was perfect. There are shuttle buses that run from the hotel into Nashville, although we didn't use them.
Super friendly staff, free shuttle to and from the airport which was super convenient. Cheap Uber to downtown Nashville. There is a gas station right next door to get snacks late at night.
The location was in the center of Nashville - walking distance ( same as many 5 stars hotel around downtown ( W Hotel, JW Marriott, Embassy Suits, The Hermitage Hotel, and Westin
