The size of the room was good. We had two queen beds, a decent sized kitchen area with a table, and a large bathroom. Parking was right outside our door.

Room was nice and clean. Very spacioius. Staff super friendly. Close to everything. No problems with request for a later check out. Breakfast and Dinner menu items were fantastic considering not a regular full fledge restaurant. I HIGHLY recommend the French Toast with Strawberries and the Avocado Toast...both very well done in Bistro style. TV in the room is GIANT for a hotel. Rates for weeknight not bad either for the area.

Eggs were awesome and the most important meal of the day!!!
Nestled north of the iconic San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge, relax in a two-room suite at our San Rafael all-suite hotel adjacent to Northgate Mall and the Marin County Civic Center.
This Extended Stay America - San Rafael - Francisco Blvd. East is located in San Rafael and especially designed for longer stays, with all rooms featuring a kitchenette.
This hotel is a great value! It's not fancy but it's clean and they are working at updating the rooms. It's close to Point Reyes National Seashore, Muir Woods and downtown San Francisco but it's far enough away that it feels safe and it's very affordable. There wasn't much for breakfast but the breakfasts aren't great even at the hotels that have a lot of offerings for breakfast. We ended up stopping to eat at the Marin French Cheese Co. and highly recommend it.

It's a small town surrounded by hills and beautiful landscapes. It's full of Ma and Pa's businesses. It's relaxing. Sit at the lounge and have a coffee, You'll feel that time just stopped. It's laid back and in contrast to a crowded San Francisco, just 30-minute drive. Proximity to vineyards and wineries.

Perfect for those who don't want to be in the city but convenient enough to visit to San Francisco. And convenient to visit the wine country of Sonoma and Napa Valley and go a little further north to see the tall redwoods forest.

This stay was rather pricey.
This stay was rather pricey. Although clean and generally acceptable, there was only a very basic room/facilities.
On the positive side, breakfast was nice with many options. Restaurant next door, Perry's, was really fun and we went twice.

An interesting downtown area.
An interesting downtown area. Met some very nice and helpful folks. Was disappointed that the American Indian Museum was closed but no advance notice of same. That was my primary reason for visiting the town. Apparently they are remodeling. I found the Novato Historical Museum instead. Talked with several helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staffers. Two ladies recommended a good place for dinner, Grazies, which was very good.
A “happening” downtown on Saturday night. Felt safe walking from and back to my car for dinner.

Should say first off that I has intended to camp out the night I stayed here, but tent camping in Marin is a pretty sad affair as far as I can tell.
The good: Staff was helpful and friendly, and value was OK because of the very low price (under $100 including tax). The room was spacious and seemed to be in working order.
The bad: Motel is located next to working RR tracks (maybe 30 yds from the room entrances), TV is maybe 24", but did have HBO. The "balcony/patio" seemed to be about 8-10 sq ft and may not have had a door leading to it.
The ugly: the mattress may have been just springs wrapped in a heavy sheet. Also, it appeared that the front door had been forced open with a large pry bar at least once in the past.
Overall, it was an inexpensive, clean, and indoor place to sleep for a night in an area that's generally less affordable, and that's really all I needed at the time.
Safe well-lit parking lot, clean updated rooms with quality construction, good wifi, safe location and hotel for single woman traveler. Breakfast buffet had good options, there was an outdoor pool, a reading nook with books to borrow, and computers for printing out boarding pass. This was nicer than a usual Best Western in my opinion. Easy on-off to 101. Good pillows, good room temp, good bed! Very pleased. Nice sized fridge in the room as well.
Overall an excellent service with a sumptuous breakfast every morning, right off the freeway with an easy access to all attractions nearby, a lot more affordable than nearby similar hotels that are almost double the price. Almost everything that we needed was available in the room. Would certainly recommend it to everyone visiting the area.
I really like this house . The area is very peaceful and the house is very spacious . You get to experience wild life saw different animals like turkeys . Deers and raccoon my family really love the open nature this house was great love the scenic views
It’s pretty close to downtown Novato in a walking distance. The price is also more affordable for a short work trip than other hotels in the area of Petaluma and Sonoma if you have to be there for work with only 30 mins drive.
View from room overlooking open space, hills, forest was pleasant and calming. Very little car traffic on road next to hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to highway and downtown Novato (even by foot).
This hotel has a style and warm athosphere! I loved the garden and SPA facility. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed the breakfast oatmeal, mini-muffins, tasty coffee and mango juice. Delicious!
Location was everything, we spent one day in Novato and another in San Francisco. Laying out by the pool was great and we liked that the room had a sliding glass door right off the pool.
I loved this hotel. My room was spacious, and the staff were wonderful! I was able to jog to a hiking trail, and even had a bit of a view from my room.
