63 Acre Farmstay - A luxury farm experience, hotel in Palatka

Featuring a garden, 63 Acre Farmstay - A luxury farm experience provides accommodations in San Mateo. This vacation home offers free private parking and luggage storage space.

Loved the availability of all the conveniences of having a kitchen, utensils, and a fridge and freezer. The ability to walk around and see all the animals was nice. Had firewood available, for a price. Nice set up outside the RV with a firepit/ chairs...even a second area further away with the availability of another firepit surrounded by logs to sit on instead. It got pretty chilly the night I stayed and the owner even checked to make sure there was enough gas for the heat without being asked. No difference in distance that if I had stayed in a hotel, and a much more private, increased amenities and peaceful stay.

I was just passing through, however it appears to be an inteesting area. The hotel is right on the river giving a nice view. The pool is a bit larger than many with chairs and tables on the surrounding deck. Sunrise over the river was beautiful. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever encountered in this type hotel.

I was there a short time as a base for visiting St Augustine etc , its handy enough and as with most towns its size has everything , from stores to many eating houses .We used Angels dinning car one night the food was good in big portions and nice staff all in a small space . I imagine many attracted to this area with be water minded I can see why , but there are other things to do and its a nice area .

The breakfast wasn’t good at all.

The breakfast wasn’t good at all. We left and had a convenience store breakfast. We are house hunting and this left a horrible impression. All we ate during our trip was grubhub. The Beef O’Brafy’s was closed but no one told us that. We walked down there (we’re disabled and have difficulty walking long distances). The front desk should advise or have proper signage

first time to Palatka and I love the back roads scenery the trees with the hanging moss. During the day it looks picturesque and at night looks creepy. The people were nice and friendly. It's a small town but they are growing there was construction going on. I guess the town is growing little by little that improvements are happening.

    We love staying in Palatka.

We love staying in Palatka. It is a good central location for Jacksonville, Gainsville, Daytona and St. Augustine without paying an expensive price for the accomodations. We usually stay at a hotel but this time I tried an appartment for our anniversary. With the covid still going on I felt it was safer than a hotel plus we could cook our own meals if we needed to. We have family there also so it is nice to visit with them and they let us know all the good local places to shop and eat.

Cool, unique space to stay while in the area. The location is convenient to shops, restaurants, historical downtown, parks, etc. The building is old school but offers all the comforts of home. The host generously provides snacks, water bottles, and all the amenities a traditional hotel provides (ample towels, toiletries, etc.) As a solo female traveler who was coming and going during the nighttime hours, I felt safe my entire stay. All in all, very pleased with my stay! Worth every penny and then some.

The house was very nice and the location too. I felt very comfortable staying in it, it gave me a homey feeling. The neighborhood was quiet and very tranquil. The host was very attentive and updated me on all changes. Over all I loved the house and when I make another trip to Palatka this is wee I'm staying. This was the best experience I had staying in a house so far.

This was one of the most interesting places we’ve ever stayed. The property is incredible as is this history behind it. Staff/owner was more than accommodating and went above and beyond. Breakfast was great and the location was right on the river and walking distance to downtown/shops/restaurants. Pet friendly to boot and made us feel right at home!

Charles on reception was great..every member of staff we spoke to was brilliant and really helpful. The rooms were spotless and everything was new...the bathroom room was great with a brilliant shower...it was like being in a four star hotel. Breakfast was fine with a hot choice and coffee....all in all a super little hotel with a great view.

Beside the breakfast that was better than the appearance, and upkeep of the hotel. Your hotel needs a lot of tender loving care on the inside and outside. Employees may need voice, and speech control or theaphy. Some personal training when dealing with staff, and how to handle the public with care.
