  • I like the location of the hotel. It has incredible access to everything downtown portland has to offer. I was able to ride the max directly from the airport to the convention center and walk a short distance to the hotel. There are ample dining options within walking distance. The view from my room was amazing.

  • For the price as a solo traveler it was great. You can catch the Trimet Max Red Line directly from the airport and it takes about twenty minutes. The stop is literally on the opposite corner so you'll be able to get into Portland easily too. Some people may not like it, but the room had a very 80/90s hotel vibe to it. Kinda retro, which I thought was very cool.

  • I just wanted an inexpensive place to stay while I explored Portland. It was good for this purpose. Being able to use the hotel's shuttle to go to and from the airport was very convenient, although if I ever go to Portland again, I would book a hotel that was right by a MAX Red Line station since going to downtown every day from the hotel took 40 minutes. The place was fairly clean and well kept and the staff were friendly (especially the shuttle drivers).

Jupiter Hotel Good 7.8 The Staff was amazing, very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were stylish and fun. The hotel has a resturant and club venue and I must say that the noise level stayed under control. Central location, my friend and I were able to walk to DT Portland in 20 minutes. The Doug Fir lounge has great food and drinks. I am in my late 30's and would reccomend this hotel to anyone especially if you are a lover of vintage and mid-century modern.
Sentinel, a Provenance Hotel Wonderful 9.1 This is a beautiful hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. We had a beautiful room with an outstanding corner balcony. When you walk into the hotel make sure you look up to the ceilings. They are gorgeous!! The hotel has direct access to Starbucks and Jake's. There are many other restaurants and shopping close by.
The Mark Spencer Hotel Excellent 8.8 Location and transport right outside.
Hotel Modera Very good 8.4 Can't say enough about the value for the location. Great outside space with firepits and the rooms have a fun, young decor.
The Benson Hotel Excellent 8.7 This hotel is a classic. We stayed 10 years ago and are glad we made the choice to return. The beautiful wood panelled foyer is gorgeous, with music in the lobby bar each evening to boot, our corner room was spacious and bright, the staff are very accommodating, and the location is unsurpassed. Next time we are in Portland, that is where we will stay.
The Paramount Hotel Portland Wonderful 9 Beautiful room with city views.
Best Western Pony Soldier Excellent 8.8 Rooms were large, clean and well presented. The hotel offered a free shuttle service to the Portland Airport. Breakfast was quite good with a variety of choices including waffles, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, coffee and juice. Staff were very accommodating and were helpful with luggage storage and a collection with the shuttle after returning my hire car. Easy access to meal options should you need it.
The Heathman Hotel Very good 8.1 The soundproofing! I was amazed that I could not hear people through the walls. I could hear people in the other rooms while in the hall, but never in my room. I'd stay there again simply for the assurance of a quiet night's sleep. Speaking of sleep, the bed was also amazing.
University Place Hotel and Conference Center Good 7.1 Good housekeeping. Great location as it is close to public transport. Decent facilities (gym, pool, etc). Complimentary breakfast is also nice. For where/what it was, the price was right.
Ramada Portland Airport Pleasant 6.9 Loved it! It was a huge room for such a bargain price & a big beautiful bathroom as well!
The Palms Motel Good 7 We had an end room and never heard a sound from even the street. Asked for more coffee and no problem getting it.we even stayed an extra night, would stay again for sure.
Eastside Lodge Good 7.5 Pool was great, friendly staff, close beer/restaurant with great food, big rooms for price, quiet. Etc etc!
Inn at the Convention Center Good 7.3 Convenience, staff helped me choose the right trolley car.
Shilo Inn Portland Rose Garden Good 7.3 The friendliness of staff and the helpfulness in informing me of the public transportation was very helpful.
Oxford Suites Portland - Jantzen Beach Very good 8.2 The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was more than I expected. It was also close to shopping areas. I also liked that Burger King and Taco Bell was across the street which was very convenient.
