I discovered the little business district while overnighting...
I discovered the little business district while overnighting at Red River Inn, a few blocks farther down Main Street. I was very impressed with my meal at Miner's Claim Restaurant. There's a decent liquor store with a good selection of beverages, and a cozy cafe/bakery for breakfast and coffee. I passed a small grocery store on Main Street as well, but I did not shop there. Taco and burrito food trucks offer other food options. Silt is easily reached from I-70, but Main Street is far enough away from the interstate that one does not hear traffic noise.

Summertime is hot is Silt.
Summertime is hot is Silt. It is close to Glenwood Springs and close to the fruit and wine area of Palisades. Perfect location to get around. Holiday Inn Express was convenient to Silt area as well as to the I-70, easy on easy off. Had a great dinner at the Miners Claim Resturant with a wonderful kids option, nicely done! Sometimes kids are cheated on the food selections and presentation, not here. Also for us adults, drinks were delicious and the beef was cooked perfectly.

I had to travel for work and the Red River Inn is right off...
I had to travel for work and the Red River Inn is right off of I-70 making it easy to get to. The room was very clean and I slept all through the night which I never do. The motel's breakfast area was very spacious, the breakfast choices were good, and the area was very clean also. I will definitely stay here again on my work trips!
Breakfast was simple, about the same as in hotels of similar price range. I liked the balcony of the room. There was a laundry room and I did wash. Stuff dried quickly on the balcony so that was great. We also used the pool and I used the exercise room. The hotels situated right on the river and it has a sitting area. Some guests used those tables for a take out dinner and I thought that was clever. We picked up pizza in Silt and ate it in our room.
The breakfast was good! The staff served hot items rather than guest helping themselves...a nice safety precaution. The location was nice with the Colorado River behind. I even caught the sunrise one morning on the bridge. The Silt Island Park was near by with a nice trails along the river bank. The rooms were comfortable and felt clean. It was also good to have guest laundry facility.
We were made to feel welcome like we were family coming home. I have never felt so warmly about a hotel until we stayed here. From enjoying the sound of the river outside to the pool inside, we loved it! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home and they were so friendly! We will definitely return. Thank you so much for making our stay exceptional!!!
We wanted to take the kids to a little glenwood getaway. Instead of paying 50 dollars more a night, I chose this hotel just 15 minutes away. The hotel definitely exceeded my expectations for the fraction of the price while still maintaining a high hotel quality standard. I'd definitely recommend to anyone staying in the glenwood springs area
I loved the whole pkg.
The room was big enough for my family.
The views were absolutely beautiful. I was so comfortable I would have lived to stay longer! Thk you so much for the service . It was my best stay at a hotel I've ever had
I liked the location. It was located on the Colorado River. You could walk across the bridge for walking at a river front park. The Miners Claim restaurant in Silt was very nice dining, very friendly help.
I loved the proximity to the tiny Silt downtown street and the alpaca farm. The desk person helped us change rooms when we were next to a room with lots of loud music and talking (we needed to sleep).
Location and the room was clean and beds ok. Considering the cost of some of the other hotels it was a nice place to stay so give it good marks for value.
