VC is a vintage silver mining town in the Sierra foothills, which has much of the original 19th century architecture still intact. Great vibe, good food and fun tours to check out. We're definitely going to come back some day.

We love that town, No negatives.
We love that town, No negatives. The hot buttered rums were extra special. Sorry, I can't remember the name but the lady was extra, extra nice. We had a private dinner at the Canvas Cafe and we felt like it was so special. There were 11 of us there to enjoy the Comstock Boys at the Opera House.

It's an amazing town. So historical.
It's an amazing town. So historical. Has many great places to see for the whole family. And don't forget to check out some of their wonderful events like the camel races, outhouse races, ferrari races, grand prix races, etc!!!
If I could give this 6*, I would. Beautifully restored Victorian house from 1875 in a charming Virginia City (after discovery of the Comstock silver lode). Andria our host is a historian, writer and has a huge depth of knowledge of VC and Nevada. We had wonderful chats over breakfast pastries and long into the evening. Absolutely loved our time here. Stayed in the Sam Davis (blue) room with stunning 100 mile view
Really enjoyed the Spa area in front of the motel. The on site market was great since there was nothing else close. Friendly owners made you feel right at home. Close walking distance to Virginia City. (up hill both ways) HAHA Eat early don't wait till after 4pm. There are many places to stay in Virginia City but would recomend the Sugarloaf Mountain to everyone. Not big so reserve early.
The hotel is perfect for those looking for a charming and unique stay. It's nothing fancy but the hotel has a western/pioneer feel with a lot of history. There is a little market on site that is open 8am-8pm which is super convenient. The hotel is also walking distance to the main strip of stores, bars, restaurants. The owners live next door and treat you like family!
B&B is a carefully preserved Victorian home in Virginia City.
Amazing restoration of a Victorian gem. Saralyn has enhanced the property even more with her decorating ideas & style. Loved our stay so much we came back & stayed again on our return home to Sedona. Will certainly want to stay again whenever we are in the area.
Stayed in the historic room #3 with some original stone walls from the late 1800’s. So cool! Small but had everything we needed including refrigerator and microwave. Owner was very nice. Walking distance to town, shops, cafes, saloons. Great place to stay in Virginia city.
We didn't realize while booking our room we would be in town for their HUGE St. Patrick's Day celebration. We were happy to have a great parking space during the festivities. Hotel is in a great location not too far from Main Street and shopping.
Virginia City was one of the very nice surprise of our trip in the West. Very typical, and a lot of friendly people, and outside of the usual tourist areas. The motel was very lovely, small rooms, but very cute and clean. Super friendly staff.
Very clean. Gentleman at front desk friendly and also gave information on places to eat. Virginia City closes down early so that was helpful. This inn was in perfect location for what I was doing.
Wonderful cozy property! Great location in a picturesque back in time western town. Enjoyed the back outside grassy area that overlooked a beautiful canyon like scene. Will definitely be returning!
I liked everything about the stay the property was gorgeous the room was nice staff was great real nice place ever come through Virginia City I’ll stay at the Virginia City Inn again
Location was very interesting. Staff was well informed about the Inn as well as the town. Accommodations were appropriate to the town. The historic nature of the Inn was a bonus.
Loved the layout of the house. Love how there’s a little fridge upstairs with water and Gatorade for the guests. Location is prime. Right above the main drag of Virginia City.
The Virginia City Inn was a beautiful clean, old world motel. Located on the outskirts of Virginia City, it's at the heart of the Old Silver and Gold mining area of Nevada.
This property is very clean and just up the road from the main hub of Virginia City. We stayed in a room with a very comfortable king size bed. I’d stay here again.
What a lovely little spot in Virginia City. Room was small but just big enough for 2. Very clean, quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again.
