What is most memorable for this trip is the mistake I made in booking Warrenton Va when in fact I was heading to Warrenton Oregon. My booking had everything I wanted big room, big bed, air conditioning, free breakfast...next time I'm in Virginia I'll have to stop by.
I had a great visit with my family thanks to the understanding people within the hotel industry. Thank you Red Roof!

Warrenton is lovely, historic town. Lots of great shops. We highly recommend enjoying a meal at Claire's at the Depot, as well as a stay at the Black Horse Inn Bed and Breakfast! Our only disappointment is that we could not stay longer :)

Warrenton is a sleepy Virginia town with a nationally known bakery -- Red Truck -- that is excellent. Main Street has some cute shops and a few restaurants, but it is not exactly vibrant. The town has lots of character -- old houses, trees, and old "gaol" or prison with a museum. Local cemetery features Confederate graves, including Mosby (of Mosby's Raiders fame).
Morgan at the Front Desk was the BEST! I would give her 100 stars if I could! The 1st room she gave us was not clean at All. We took the video to the front and she put us in a new room within minutes. Will definitely be staying again.
I did not partake of the breakfast . the motel was very convenient for where I wanted to go. The room had a refrigerator and microwave and a coffee maker. Access into the building was through room pass card only.
Bed was very comfortable. Hotel was clean and water pressure good, my big selling points. That said the hotel is starting to show its age a little, and then amenities, towels, and breakfast were only ok.
The location was perfect. If your intention is to spend time in Old Town Warrenton you may not find a better location to stay. I had a really nice time and would certainly stay again.
Beautiful property! Very peaceful. Loved the game room and location. Front desk (black woman) was wonderful! She was very knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly.
The property is in a beautiful setting. I stayed in a renovated room and although small was very comfortable. Hallways should be next in the renovation list.
