This place is unique - it's not traditional & has a lot of awesome quirks. The decor is off-beat & fun, we called it "wonderfully weird". It was perfect for us, but might not be perfect for everyone. Overall though, the entire space is so COMFORTABLE & has been cultivated with thought & care. We'll be back.

Yucca Valley is a unique city with many small stores around the area that have a variety of different items such as antiques and thrift stores.
This area is also great for nature walks/hikes. And make sure you check out Pioneer Town and eat at Pappy & Harriets.

We stayed in the hotel in the city of Yucca Valley which was a longer drive to the Joshua Tree park. In the future I would stay in the city of Twenty Nine Palms which is closer to the entrance to the park.

We took a nature hike in a Nature Preserve (can't recall the name) with the great-grand-kids in Morongo Valley, just south of Yucca Valley. On our way home we drove through Joshua Tree National Forest & did one of the shorter hikes (to the old dam). It's a must do for those who haven't driven through the forest. Yucca Valley is a very pretty & clean town. We encountered no pan-handlers at the intersections! That was very nice!! I'll give a shout out for the Mexican restaurant, La Casita Nueva, just a couple buildings down from the Super 8 motel. Great food & bar for cocktails.

Great area that is close to all that Joshua Tree has to offer. We went to visit Pioneer town and to see a show at Pappys and Harriet's. This hotel is very close to everything we came to see. There is also a breakfast spot right off the main highway that was really good and close to our stay. I believe it was C & J Cafe.

Rooms were clean and reception was very accommodating.
Rooms were clean and reception was very accommodating. When I booked it advertised a balcony room with mountain views, but when I git there I was on the ground floor. I kindly asked and they upgraded the room! Awesome family run hotel.
The cabin was on a large property, which made us feel secluded, despite having some neighbours nearby. The cabin itself is beautiful - the open space and airy windows really contributed to the desert feel of the place. The kitchen had everything you could ever need, and it was HUGE and easy to cook in. Laying on the hammocks and watching the stars at night was the best part of the experience for sure. Oh, and I can’t rave about the record selection enough! What a great mix of genres and styles which was perfect for this group.
We found this eclectic gem located in Yucca Valley, CA. The host, Carol was very accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions. She was very helpful in getting an additional night’s reservation, which was extremely helpful. Carol went way beyond to make our long-weekend comfortable and memorable. Casa Morada, a 3-bedroom (pet friendly) residence space was very clean and had all of the necessities (Air Conditioning, Kitchen, Wi-Fi, large flat screen TV) for a two night stay,.July 21, 23, 2023.
What a gem in Yucca Valley near Joshua Tree national Park! The house was brand new and very spacious, lovely hot showers, tastefully designed and decorated, comfortable beds, very well equipped kitchen with everything that we needed. The hot tub was also fantastic
Host was extremely responsive, would highly recommend to anyone.
Lots of cute shops in the area
House was also great with the heating which was adjustable
This was such a well maintained place in Yucca valley, very close to Joshua Park. The interiors captured some of the very intricate aspects of native tribes of Americas, a fitting tribute to their culture and art. The rooms were very spacious and well ventilated. The kitchen had all equipments for cooking. Perfect to enjoy star gazing as well.
I have stayed at this property at various times in its life, from when it was the Yucca Valley Inn motel to now. it’s never been fancy but decent accommodations. this property is in desperate need of upgrades.
There is an (unheated) pool and hot tub and it’s in a convenient location to explore Old Town Yucca Valley and Pioneertown.
We stayed in a couple Super 8 motels on this trip. This one had the better facilities and was a little more up to date. Everything was clean and working. Wi-Fi was great (streamed a basketball game). The room had a small fridge and a microwave, which was very helpful. Overall, it was fine for our needs.
A cozy, safe, comfortable and warm motel that welcomed my friends and I on our trip to Joshua Tree. It is easy to find, right off the main road in Yucca Valley. If you want more of a lively village, stay closer to the gate or in 29 Palms, but this was a nice location for drivers.
The location is great. It is located in the heart of the Yucca Valley. It's quite convenient to do grocery shopping and eat at restaurants. There is a free breakfast available. Despite the simplicity of the breakfast, steaming coffee is always appreciated.
The room is clean.
The location was fine. It was near everything I needed and not too close to neighbors. Guests should be advised, however, that many places in Yucca Valley are very hard to find in the dark, and this was no exception.
Towels were very plentiful and of good quality.
The staff is great and the service was exceptional. I’ve been in 3-Star hotels that were not as good. The space is well kept - might not be the most modern, but well kept. The front desk helped with everything we needed. Overall great value for the price you pay.
Good place for a one-night stay when visiting Joshua Tree NP. Convenient location just minutes from the entrance to the National Park and close to the restaurants and shops in the town of Yucca Valley. Good breakfast. Outdoor pool made the stay enjoyable.
Beautiful home in a lovely quiet neighborhood, super close to everything in Yucca Valley! Everything is super clean and comfortable. The yard was great for my dog to run around in. Couldn't have asked for a better stay!
We stayed in the jungle room. It was great. Perfect surprise for my partner who didn't realize we were going to be staying in a themed hotel. If you're trying to decide if you should stay or not you definitely should
very clean, comfortable. better than any hotel in the area, but all of hotels in the are gross. so, I shouldn’t compare them to this place. The home is very greeting when you open the door. I enjoyed my stay!
We used the hotel during Coachella 2023, very large rooms, despite the age of time very comfortable, good quality wifi, clean room, cleaned daily, and very friendly and helpful staff.
This is probably one of the best stays I’ve ever experienced. The rental is beautiful, everything is labeled and easily accessible. Peaceful relaxing getaway at its finest
