Devils Bridge
The Hafod overlooks the Devils Bridge Waterfalls and is 300 metres from the Rheidol Valley Railway Station. It offers rooms with countryside views, free Wi-Fi and a restaurant.

Everything! The exterior appearance of the hotel is historic and charming, and the interior design is very attractive with wonderful attention to visual detail. Colour coordinated fittings and beautiful high quality ornaments, lamp shades, kettles, crockery... Charming old doors and windows with period details. Mattresses extremely comfortable. Staff went out of their way to be helpful and informative. Although dogs aren't allowed in the hotel, my dog was able to be with us in the bar/dining room while we were eating. And last but not least, the amazing, evocative views from the hotel over the dramatic, wooded Vale of Rheidol, giving a Bavarian feel to the place. The waterfall walk right by the hotel is absolutely spectacular. We felt at home at the Hafod as soon as we entered, and absolutely loved it there. Plan to return when we can.
