The owner Cristiana made us feel like family and right at home from the beginning, making us a caffe and making sure we had all information necessary for a great and safe trip within the area. Her English is exceptional (we’re working on our Italian! :)) ) and she gave us a tour of her gorgeous property, wedding venue and a complimentary bottle of wine to begin our stay. We were sad to leave and cannot wait to come back with more of our family! Il Pillone carries the heart of what we love of the people, culture, peace and beauty of Italy. Wonderful place. The owner is incredibly friendly and was there to welcome us. She was always available to answer questions. The apartment was very clean, looked after, and cosy. There is place to sit outside too. It's a very quiet location but close to shops and a couple of restaurants within walking distance. More restaurants available within a 5-10 minute drive. The pool was also fantastic, and cleaned every day.

Fantastic, quiet location, beautiful panoramic views, lovely swimming pool and spacious accommodation. Easy check in, owners very welcoming and gave us a place to securely store our bicycles.

Gianluca is a very friendly host, and a great source of advice on activities in the area. And the location is spectacular, right in the middle of the ancient hilltop settlement, next to the medieval church that opens its doors Sundays.

"Bellissima" house with a wonderfull roof top for the breakfast. The wellcoming host completes the very good stay we had in Toscana. I recommand it !!!

Gina was an outstanding host. Happy, warm and welcoming. Claudia is a wonderful staff member. Extremely clean facility. Restaurants up in the hills were spectacular as well as La Perla in town. Easy to the Autostrada and close to the coast.

No matter how I express my pleasant experience during my stay at Agriturismo Poggio Tondo I will not make it justice. Everything was perfect in this property the rooms, the cleanliness, and the exceptional landscape and view over the mountains of Tuscany. The owners Filipo and his parents were great hosts very helpful and kind , the mother Manuela was present at all time and prepared us the most delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner on order. The location is on the top of the hill so it’s a ride up, quite isolated and the nearby town is just 15 minutes drive very convenient. The place is well prepared for occasions and weddings the family is very professional in that department. and in hosting honestly i can keep on writing of how good the experience was. it’s Highly recommended and it’s perfect if you’re looking for a serene relaxed experience.
