“The wonderful garden with shadow spending palms and the spacious swimming pool was the place to be for the whole family in the Andaluz summer. The interior of the house is comfortable and well equipped. Nice terrace.”
“This hotel is a relaxing place to stay with fantastic mountain views. The village of Grazalema is a picturesque 10 minute walk and is well worth a visit. The food in the restaurant was really good.”
“A fabulous find - and somewhere we will definitely go back to. Wonderful conversion of old buildings which retain character but have all mod cons. Lovely to have a lounge room with a log fire, sofas and open bar to relax in on a cold winter's night. Fantastic power shower to warm you up too. Amazing views, especially the stars at night. Tucked away but actually on the main road so easy to find and very easy to get to Agua Armaga, Rodalquilar and other places nearby. Huge gardens to wander, with well-thought out spaces to sit and relax.”
“I liked the phase of the place. I liked the comfort in the place. I liked the building, the atmosphere, the appearance, the design, the style, the look, the food, the simplicity, the complexity, the externals, the surroundings, the animals, the closeness to nature, the closeness to truth. The wonders of life. Life itself. I liked the beautiful staff. The helpful staff. The kind people there. I liked the promise I was left with after visiting. The promise of a good and romantic life. A grand life.”
“Good sized bedrooms, very friendly staff, easy access to el parque.”
“Location, tranquility, frendliness of staff, food, room clean, spacious and large.”
“Everything, the food was fantastic, wish we would have booked longer here.”

“I almost hate to review this incredible cave-hotel bc the throngs may change the whole ecology of Sacramonte, but Here you go: For Romantics, The best part is the cave itself. No windows, no internet that works, no tv, but a kitchenette, frig, big bed and lots of silence or nearly so. the Patio is a meeting place for all 5 or 6 cave residents. It does not get much much better then breakfast there or afternoon cocktail. I thought the next best part was the location, right in Sacramonte home of possibly the best Flamenco in the world, but I was a little wrong. The best part in the easy walk to the Alhambra, and if you are a runner....you will just love looking at the alluring trails on the big mountains across the river, behind the Alhambra, from your patio. Listen up. the easiest way to get on the Trails is to jog by way of Plaza Nueva, to the Alhambra, about 1 mile... but keep going past the parking lots, up and up and up, past the few hotels there, until you get to the big parking lots, the ones for buses. You will notice to the left, the mountain side, a road with a cross bar stopping traffic, with no explanation. Go around the bar, and you will quickly come to what I think is called the Citadel of the Alhambra. It is not on any tourist maps I found, nor are the mountains. the Mountains are part of a big national forest, and I think part of the protection of the fragile trails is to not publicize it. You will see lots of evidence of other runners and bikers. Be careful as many trails have killer drop offs and the views are spectacular, along with hundreds of birds cheering you on.”
“It took a bit of getting to but El Palomar de la Brena, was wonderful. We wished we could have stayed longer. It was quiet and surrounded by lovely forest and hillsides. The outside pool was nice, too.”
“The cottage was large, well appointed with a private outside area which was lovely to relax in. Views of the surrounding mountains from the pool. Wonderful stay.”
“General authentic cosy atmosphere Cool house (without airco) Reasonably large kitchen Patio with Barbecue Quite and tranquility Located near the border of a beautiful pueblo blanca Good beds”
