We had no idea that it was part of an estate with a 17th century chateau (presently being restored). The beautiful gardens have been restored and guests are free to visit the grounds. The farmer’s house where we stayed has been beautifully restored with elegantly comfortable rooms. The included breakfast was bountiful and delicious! We were warmly welcomed and we truly enjoyed our stay!

The Manoir was a beautiful house with lovely surroundings. Thomas was an exceptional host who spoke very good English. He provided a wonderful evening meal with no forward request and was most helpful with planning the route for our onward journey. Would definitely stay there again.

Really friendly and family-style hotel in a beautiful old Normandy building on the edge of the town. Very characterful main house with a lovely kitchen and living room to use at any time. All of the rooms had different styles and vibes, so there is something for everyone. There is one room with a small cinema screen and projector which is great if wanting to have a night in. Excellent breakfast with local produce. Lovely host!

Jerome and Jordan bought this old manor house as a virtual ruin and are transforming it into a stunning wedding venue with onsite accommodation. They have succeeded in restoring the beautiful features of the old house, combining it with modern comforts and the rooms are fashionably decorated. The rooms are light and airy and ours had a kitchenette with tea/coffee making facilities (but bring your own tea and coffee!) plus a hob and sink unit. There were deckchairs, chairs and tables outside in the garden that we used. You could also request to have a BBQ put up for your use. The hosts' friendly dogs are happy to meet everyone and there are hens and cows in the surrounding fields. We had one of the most delicious breakfasts of our trip here which included several varieties of home-made jam, home-made yoghurt, baguette, croissants, crepes and home-made cake. We were also offered eggs. The fresh apple-pear juice made a lovely change to the usual orange that you get in many places. The coffee was excellent and, in accordance with British tastes, my parents-in-law were able to have lots of fresh milk with their pot of tea. Jerome and Jordan are exceptional hosts and went out of their way to make our stay a great success. We hope to return there.
