- From $609.88 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 212 reviewsThis boutique hotel is an experience in and of itself. The property is beautiful, and the casitas are tucked among lush foliage and multiple spotless saltwater pools with hammocks and palapa sand lean tos for ample shade. The food at the coco cafe was the best in the area with fresh smoothies and local drinks, and healthy lunch and dinner options, all delicious. The spa and fitness room is just steps away from the casitas and the massage therapists are talented and professional. To top it off there are friendly lizards and iguanas that stop by to say hi every once in a while. The beach is not even a five minute walk away with food service and many shaded palapas you can reserve on one of Arubas most beautiful beaches. The cleaning and landscaping crews keep the grounds immaculate and the casitas and facilities spotless and cozy. There’s also a cute little shuttle named Chichi that runs every hour. The boardwalk boutique hotel made our honeymoon experience in Aruba unforgettable and we will be returning in the future. I would not stay anywhere else but here.Guest review byWhitneySpain

Our only complaint about the beach is no refreshment facilities....need to take drinks with you or walk a way down to get a restaurant. The TRYP beach umberlelas and loungers were good. Water sports close by . Beach clean and water beautifulGuest review byWendySpain - 8.0

I stayed downtown because it was easy from the cruise ship and I only had 2 nights. I thought there would be more shopping and restaurants and such … but it was either super high end jewelry or tourist trinkets. Obviously most people go out to the resort hotels. For my purposes it was fine … my hotel was nice, with good facilities and I did a nice island tour. I would not stay there for longer than a night or two … but for that it was great.Guest review byMargaretUnited States - 10.0
Loved the hotel.
Loved the hotel. Room was a nice size and came with a kitchenette, beds comfy abd the shower was hot. Centrally located so you have access to everything you need, plenty of restaurants on and near the property. Pool and gym access. Scenic views of the bay. Do the city tour… so you can get a snapshot of the island… eat at the local eateries..,they’re the best. Revial has THE best breakfast, Buccaneers and Shoreline (hole in the wall but the most authentic food) the beaches are gorgeous enjoy as many as you can. You can also take a ferry to nearby Anguilla and St BartsGuest review byBrandy JenkinsUnited States - 10.0

Lots of beautiful beaches (though they name every sliver so before going it seems more overwhelming than it is.) Glad I rented a truck the first week & just explored. (I was there a total of 15 days - spent 7 with a dive group.) If you want to go further than just very close to your accommodation (other than downtown), you need to rent a truck. And, there is so much to see I recommend doing it at least for the first part of your trip. (Taxis cost about half a day rental. Be sure to get full coverage if you plan to explore because sticker type bushes WILL scrape & you will not even realize it is happening. Also, people tailgate BAD here.) I enjoyed diving, snorkeling, going to see the various sites on a drive to the wind sailing area (which I want to do next time.), watching wind sailers, going to the Donkey Sanctuary as well as the dog / cat rescue & driving up to Rencon & the lake where the flamingos are protected. Salt Pier is also very interesting. (I am not much of a history buff until I visit but I enjoyed learning history here.)Guest review byCynUnited States - 8.0

Ideal for shopping for jewelry bargains or finding nice little restaurants, walking through the area and learning about the history of Philipsburg and the other Dutch islands. A great store for souvenirs is the Amsterdam Cheese and Liquor Store....excellent cheeses, alcohol and assorted Dutch ceramics. Fully air-conditioned for your enjoyment...we went there twice and loved it. If you are, like me, a history buff, visit the Pasanggrahan Guest House, former home to the governor of St. Maarten and where the King and Queen of Holland stayed during their visits to St. Maarten....now a small inn. The front desk staff will kindly allow to have a look around.Guest review byJamesUnited States - 10.0
We enjoyed our stay very much.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment had spectacular views of the ocean from every room. The location was another plus. It was a short walk to the beach, cafes/restaurants/bars, casino and nightlife. Plenty of transportation available in area. Our host reached out to us several times to make sure that we were ok. Would recommend to friends and family.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
One of the most important things is to rent a car.
One of the most important things is to rent a car. Without it, each ride can cost around $25 USD, and distances are quite long. D&D Car Rental was excellent. I loved all the restaurants — the food in this country is really good. There's one called VISBOER, and I absolutely loved the red snapper. I highly recommend the beaches Kenepa and Porto Mari, as well as Mambo Beach and Papagayo. They're not only beautiful beaches but also great resorts — super fun and relaxing spots to visit!Guest review byDiego.coColombia - 10.0

While one might think Noord may be too far from the action and the beaches, they'd be wrong. Other than the Baby beach area everything is within 10-15 min drive. If a car rental is not in the cards, or you love constant hustle and bustle, then I suggest staying in town . But for those who like easy relaxing commutes the location is perfect.Guest review byBradCanada
