Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodations 3.1 mi from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. Amazing! By far the best place around Egilstadir!

The place was big , clean and comfortable. Bed was really comfortable and the dining area was clean and orderly. The coffee maker in the room is a nice amenity.

Everything was perfect. All the facilities are perfect and well maintained. The breakfast is amazing! Perfect hotel to stay while road tripping Iceland!

The staff went above and beyond. The location is otherworldly. The interior is finely curated. The rooms are very comfortable.

Set 17 mi from Hella and 7.5 mi from Laugaland, Landhotel features a garden, bar and free WiFi. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Superb room, luxurious for my wife and I as the room was super spacious. It has everything I need! Breakfast was an added bonus as Booking.com said no meal plan and receptionist said all rooms come with a breakfast. Wife was elated :) For the price compared to other accommodations I had in Iceland, this is super value for money. Pity we didn’t had time to try out the hot tub out in the open! 2 nights is definitely not enough when the F-roads are open for the summer as there are plenty of nearby hikes around the area!
