The 'rooms' are large and more like cabins. Each has its own small patio with a view. Washroom is large and clean. Hot water mostly in the morning. Comfortable beds. Helpful attentive professional staff. Swimming pool. Great restaurant.

Located in Nosy Be, a few steps from Djamanjary Beach, Anki Lodge has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. The location was fantastic; stunning sunsets, and the oasis of greenery was amazing. The owner Pascal has dedicated the majority of space to the lovely gardens, swaying palms, and all things nature. Both Pascal and the manager Sandrine were incredibly helpful with everything and anything - scooter rental, dive shops, boat trips, trips to the national park, airline issues, local transportation - just a fantastic experience start to finish.

Located in Nosy Be, a few steps from Ambondrona Beach, Swisscocobeach provides accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. Exactly like the photos. Staff are genuinely nice and kind. Breakfast was delicious and generous for a good price. Dinner was also very good. Pool very clean, as is the room. Great hot water pressure in shower, good mirror and hair dryer. Tv and mini fridge in room. The reception booked us a van to transfer to the airport. All in all a great stay.

Résidence Le Hublot is located in Antananarivo, within 1.2 miles of Andafiavaratra Palace and 1.7 miles of The Rova of Antananarivo. Wonderful host. Room was very large. Best shower and best Wi-Fi I we experienced in 4 weeks of Madagascar. Rooms had good lighting. Location very good - close to restaurants and short walk to Analakay market. Beatrice tres bien host

The place is in a perfect location, exquisite meals and amazing staff. Our gratitude to Manda and the gentleman at the reception as well as Larissa, Eric, Gabriel, the chef and all the beautiful staff who took care of us sometimes with just a smile or a kind word.

Located in Fianarantsoa, one mile from Fianarantsoa Train Station, Tsara Guest House provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The hotel has a very nice view over the city and is closely located to the old town. The colonial style house is really nice. The staff super friendly. And we had one of the best dinners and breakfasts in Madagascar. All of this at an attractive price level.

Located in Antananarivo, 10 miles from Soarano Station, Nosy Manga - Hotel Ivato Airport provides accommodations with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. We had an amazing room - a sute with a chess board in it! The rooftop pool and downstairs restaurant were both lovely. It's very affordable with free airport transfer. We didn't explore the surrounding area, but if you want a nice place to stay especially near the airport then it has everything you need.

Facing the beachfront, Maison Ylang Dive Center offers 3-star accommodations in Nosy Be and has an outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace. Well located and easy to reach what you need but also a little down the beach from the chaos. Great food, lovely kind staff, very clean and safe feeling, gorgeous sunsets. The resident dogs. Staff are attentive but not overbearing.

The Citizen in Antananarivo provides adults only accommodations with a garden, a restaurant and a bar. You can see the lake from the room as well as the terrace. The nostalgic hotel offers good service on everything. Wifi is fast and stable. Staff are friendly and super helpful. It only takes them one minute to switch on the generator after the power cut. The restaurant attracts not only guests like me but also guests from outside. Their grilled zebu is really one-of-the-kind. I hope i can come back for the grilled zebu again. Don’t miss the sunset on the terrace. The upper town looks like a painting with the sunshine.
