The Weinberg Windhoek is set in Klein Windhoek and has restaurants and free parking is available. The rooms at the Weinberg Windhoek combine old world charme with modern amenities. Located in the quiet city area, but only about few min car ride from the center and about 45 min from the airport. It has 2 restaurants of its own, a very nice rooftop and 2 other very good restaurants in the premises. The other 2 restaurants are within few steps, so very convenient for a stay. Breakfast was included and plentiful. We stayed before and after safari and could not think of a better place in Windhoek.

Kuvira River Camp in Divundu provides accommodations with a garden, a terrace and a bar. Guests can enjoy river views. All rooms at the hotel come with a seating area. This lodge is located on the banks of the Kavango River, along the route toward Botswana just before entering the Caprivi Strip. That’s why we stayed here twice: once on the way to Botswana and again on our return journey. The lodge offers various levels of comfort, including private cottages and well-equipped tents. We tried both options, and each was comfortable and enjoyable. In every case, there’s a special feeling of being close to nature. In the evenings, after dinner, the staff lights a campfire where guests can relax in the unique atmosphere. The lodge also offers boat tours on the Kavango River, perfect for watching the sunset and encountering hippos. This was truly one of the most unforgettable evenings of our entire trip. The food deserves special mention. The restaurant terrace is beautifully designed, and the dinner we had there was probably the best of our entire journey.

Located in Outjo, a 11-minute walk from Outjo Museum, Kifaru Bush camp has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. How am I going to put into words how absolutely wonderful Kifaru Bush Camp was?? One can not but feel welcome when you are personally greeted by Natalia Nailenge as you step out of the vehicle.Welcome rooibos tea cocktails offered by a smiling Hambeleleni Nakapandi. Dinner was from heaven for Chef Selma E Shigwedha prepared exeptional Oryx steaks with beautiful side dishes after our evening drive. Amber and Tristan Muller - manager/guide I booked an evening drive but only morning drives are done, but these two young people went above and beyond to make an evening drive possible and Richardo had lovely sundowner drinks and snacks ready and available on our arrival at the viewing area. Johannes controlled everything fire, from the inviting camp fire on arrival back from our drive to every room's boiler fire for our hot water. Not only was our visit and drive fantastic, it was also educational. Amber and Tristan shared their passion for protecting the rhino in their care and about the 'Rhino Momma Project" 'More time to visit' is definitely on my list for next time.

Heinitzburg Boutique Hotel is a restored castle with a unique architecture, set on top of a hill in Windhoek. It features a pool in a manicured garden, a wine cellar and two restaurants. This is a very charming, historical property with a beautiful restaurant and an excellent view. The staff was incredibly accommodating. They arranged for both a massage and a city tour on short notice. The room was unique and very comfortable. There is also a resident cat who charms the guests. I would stay here again.

SAROA Safari Lodge has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Nina. With free WiFi, this 4-star hotel offers room service and luggage storage space. This place would be a great weekend get-away from Windhoek,or as it was for us a first stop out of the city on our way to places further abroad. Upon arrival the first thing we saw was a rhino in the road, it was beautiful and a good start to our journey. We loved the 2 bedroom chalet we stayed in - it had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The lodge itself was well laid out and beautiful, it even had a little driving range to hit balls into the bush! We went on the sundowner game drive and got to see lots of animals on the preserve up close.

Located along the Atlantic coast within a 15 minutes’ walk from Palm Beach, Hansa Hotel Swakopmund features two restaurants, a bar and terrace. It has a garden and offers free WiFi in all areas. Very nice staff, personalized service, good food, very idyllic place. Everything was more than I expected or wanted.

Khan River Lodge features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Wilhelmstal. Featuring a bar, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The rooms have a patio.... Stunning location . The self catering cabins were spacious , we opted to dine at the lodge. Great service , breakfast and dinner choices :) Our hosts were very friendly and the whole set up of the farm lodge is very relaxed and user-friendly , nice pool area :) We booked a sundowner , super informative guide , stunning sunset location and lots of interesting wildlife seen . As a bit of fun we booked target shooting :) For our last two nights of holiday this was the perfect place to be.

Bagatelle Kalahari Boutique Farmhouse Lodge has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Mariental. There is free private parking and the property has paid airport shuttle service.
