Such friendly and helpful hotel staff! They helped me check and call my tourist bus to make sure I had the right location and when they found out I was leaving early, the opened the breakfast dining room an hour early to make me something to eat. Also hot showers!! Which I was told is rare in Nepal so HUGE win for that especially in Autumn.

Staff are very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast is outstanding - not your average breakfast buffet at all - lots of unique and healthy options. The small pool on the roof offers a great retreat from the hullabaloo of Kathmandu. It’s worth noting that they do not have an indoor pool as the description suggests. It’s quite new so everything works and is very clean - a bonus in Nepal. It’s surprisingly quiet in this great location on the back side of Thamel. We will definitely be back and recommend to others.

Hotel Jampa is set in Thamel and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The property is 1.8 mi from Kathmandu Durbar Square and 1.9 mi from Swayambhunath Temple. Everthing. Charming staff, comfortable room, very cheap, and the free airport transfer was the cherry on top.

The manager at reception is really good, he waited for me and my friend till late night as our filthy delayed for nearly 3 hours.
