Everything is new, and spotlessly clean. The staff are excellent, and the location is bang in the middle of town next to all the transport links. Located in Christchurch, a 12-minute walk from Canterbury Museum, The Mayfair has accommodations with a fitness center, private parking, a restaurant and a bar. 1. The bed & pillows was exceptional comfortable. 2. The additional sink and tap together with a microoven in the room itsef (outside the toilet & shower) make it practical and convenient for making our hot drinks and getting our water supply. 3. Individual AC in good working condition which we can control the temperature in the room! 4. Strong shower and quality shower gel and body lotion. 5. The design of the toilet allows me to put my toiletries and make up easily. 6. Room service - food available even early in the morning at 2 AM! Order is just at your finger tip via the hotel's tablet. 7. The hotel restaurant food was so delicious and reasonably price! 8. All reception Staff was courteous, reliable and helpful (especiallly Natasha) who helped booked local Tours and Taxi. The recommendation to take bus to Gondola and sea side at New Brighton were wonderful. The bus stop is just 2 to 3 minutes away from the hotel.

Modern facilities, super nice and friendly personnel. Good location - although a bit far from the docks - close to the bus station and the Sky City complex.

Loved my room- king with harbour view- had Sky Tower right outside my window too. Room had everything needed for a perfect stay. Bed great. Pillows great. Bathroom great. Nice breakfast too. Great location for centre of town, restaurants. Bus stop to North Shore right outside the door.

Simply amazing. One of the best hotel experiences ever - and we have had many. Such a lovely, historical college building, beautiful decor, cleanliness and perfect customer service. A beautiful room and bathroom, lovely bed and linens. We also liked the continental breakfast a lot. I have celiac diseace and had yet a good choise. The breakfast hostess earns our special thaks. Location in the Arts Centre was great with shops a lovely restaurants and a cafe. Sadly the antiquities museum was closed Mon - Tue. Also the museum tram has its stop very close. Attractively located in the Wellington CBD district of Wellington, The Cobbler Hotel is located a 17-minute walk from Freyberg Beach, 0.6 miles from TSB Bank Arena and a 7-minute walk from Te Papa. The location is perfect. The Octagon, the university, and many restaurants are an easy walk. The suite was actually an amazing apartment. Very comfortable and incredibly spacious. I would definitely stay there again.
