Breakfast was excellent! the room was very comfortable and quite despite the fact that it faced the street side. The room was decorated with a personal touch. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I will return to Townhouse if I come to Exeter next time!

Often the advertisement for a hotel is promising and the reality is sobering. In The Telstar it was vice versa, really a very nice experience. I wish all hotels would be like The Telstar. Really tasteful interior, charming and very friendly hosts, good breakfast, very clean facilities. A pleasure!

Very comfortable bed! Location is great, close to the city centre, within walking distance to supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Spacious room. Very good shower! Very good breakfast!

Very well appointed, clean and comfortable room. Comfortable bed with high quality linen. Extensive range of TV channels including Sky Sports was a bonus. Excellent, friendly and helpful staff, helped solve a problem with redirecting a parcel for me with kindness and efficiency. Didn't eat breakfast, so cannot comment on the restaurant. Overall the hotel exceeded expectations and was only a short ride into Exeter.
