The hotel and staff exceeded expectations. I believe recently refurbished, the room was spacious and was great for a family of 3 with s sofa bed for the little one. Nothing was too much trouble for the very friendly and happy staff, from reception, breakfast team and not to mention the housekeeping team. I would highly recommend the hotel to family, friends and work colleagues especially if you are travelling from or to Heathrow as we were. The leisure club and spa was also great, for me the pool and gym.

There was no breakfast available, but we coped. The room was very basic, but adequate. The mattresses were excellent. The hotel was clean, the bed linen and towels were impeccable and the staff very friendly and obliging. The location of the hotel was exactly where we wanted to be. We would like to stay there again. NB no lift and lots of stairs, but we had a lower ground floor room, so not a problem. No luggage racks. A very enjoyable stay and our sincere thanks to Ian and his team. Susan Battersby
